hey kit, neat idea .only problem is you have to lift these royal stars about 2 feet to get the tire out.scary enough when it's on the floor.
-
you name it ,just try to pick a day when the weather looks good.i can handle the cold just don't like rain or snow.linda said she would drive the chase vehicle.what a sissy.

the harbor freight lift is hard to come by.nice lift on sale for $379.00,but every one i checked with is out of them.i even went to the main store in oklahoma city and they were out.i looked for the air lift on it and did'nt see anything that resembled it.may be a misrepresentation.i bought one yesterday at cummins tool.not quite as nice but is rated at the same 1000 lbs.really wanted the one from harbor freight but just could'nt find one.has anyone noticed that everything made in china has a unique odor.makes me wonder.when we had our tack shop all mexican saddles had a weird odor.we heard they used human urine to tan their leather.true story.bill

these bikes have hypoid gears just like cars.they are the highest friction gears that there are.that is why they have to have a special high zinc content oil (a friction modifier).lots of break in metal particals are very normal.thats why they have the magnet. in a car they just settle out in the housing as metalic sludge.if you ever ran your finger through a car rearend housing with alot of miles on it, you would be shocked at the amount of metal that has settled in it.don't worry about it .it's normal and will never cause a problem.how often do you change the oil in the rearend of your car.

i always tip 20% and i hate it.i don't like tipping at all.it's not that i'm cheap,it's a pain in the butt.i would rather the people that serve me get paid more and i'll pay more for the service.why should i have to bribe some one to do a good job washing my car ,or giving me a decent hair cut.the hardest workers are the waitresses and waiters .they need to get paid more.and if they do a lousy job of serving you tell the management.when it comes to food with me money is no object.i don't care how much it costs if i get good service and a good meal.just my 2 cents plus tips.lol

hey beer 30 ,that sounds neat. i think the most awesome tattoo i ever saw was a fellow i was in the service with had a peacock on the back of his shoulder, with it's tail feathers hanging down.he had it done in japan and said it was done by hand with a pointed bamboo stick. awesome colors. always wanted one just like it.

i bought some printed circuit grip warmers that wrap around the bars and you slip your grips over.waste of money the bars on the clutch side absorb most of the heat.the throttle side gets uncomfortably hot.don't know if the grips do that.i think the gloves would be the best bet.

it's those long lines that really burn.

hey thats cool.been trying to talk my wife into getting one but she's chicken.i wanted to get another one last year (i love indian and japenese art),but the one i wanted was going to cost around $600.00.this year at vogel we went to helen, and i was going to get a dragon, after i rode the dragon.but they would'nt take charge cards and my wife was off shopping with all the cash.

i've got an older fulmer full face and it seems like a pretty good helmet for the price i paid.i only wear a full face in the winter.just bought a new hjc full face and it is the cats meow.fits good, anti fog,no internal drafts, noise free, and very warm in cold weather.only draw back is water acumulates on the bottom of the face mask from my breath.looking for a snow mobile breath deflector to cure that.there are so many hundreds of models of helmets to choose from ,that i set priorities when i buy one.must have anti fog ,good seal on face shield ,no undue pressure on head, dot and snell approved, good side vision, not bulky and silly looking, and.not overly heavy.i try to have a helmet for all riding conditions.thats why i have 4 of them.this last two weeks with the different temperatures , different bikes i rode ,and different distances. i wore all 4 of them at one time or another.
