1. You going to get Medicade or Medicare? Medicare does not kick in until you are 65. However, back to your origional question, that is a very good rate if you have decent coverage.

Yep, you're a luck dog. I would give an arm, a leg and two cans of chicken noodle soup to have those guys around to educate me.
3. Here is the article from the Amarillo paper, bikes down, some riders injured others dead. A grim reminder to stay alert when traveling. James & Anita White have ridden the colorful stretch of highway west of Pueblo, Colo., dozens of times. Friday's trek should have been routine. But the trip ended tragically for the Amarillo couple when someone in their motorcyclist group struck an antelope, setting off a chain reaction that left Anita White and another man dead. The Colorado State Patrol said Jeffrey Parker, 51, of Amarillo, was the lead motorcycle in a pack of nine that was traveling north on Colorado 69 near Westcliffe about 5:30 p.m. Friday, when he hit an antelope. It was one of three that ran into the road and into the path of the cyclists. Parker was rushed to a Pueblo hospital, where he died. The Whites, who were sharing a bike, also were transported from the scene to a hospital. Anita White, 58, died Saturday. James White, 49, suffered injuries that were not life threatening. Jesse Wright, who was riding immediately behind Parker and two bikes ahead of the Whites, said he saw Parker go down after striking the animal. The Whites' bike slid after running through a pool of the animal's blood, then hitting dry pavement. "This was a freak accident," Wright said. All nine riders were from the Amarillo area and members of the Southern Monarchs Motorcycle Club. They were on their way to Buena Vista and Independence, Colo., for a weekend of camping, Wright said. On Tuesday, the answering machine at Southern Cycle, the Amarillo motorcycle shop the Whites co-own, said the business was shut down "until further notice" because of "a death in the family." The Whites had been married 31 years and had been riding motorcycles during all that time, often logging 10,000 to 13,000 miles a year on Harley-Davidson bikes, according to the club.
4. I already gave the links away, but I am betting someone on here still has a set from lowering their bike. I still have the stock brake mounting caliper and you are welcome to that. Just let me know where to send it and it is yours. Also, if the bike was lowered front and rear, your kickstand may have been shortened.
5. Don, You might get with Ponch, he is thinking of starting a side business selling the dash gauge kits with faceplate, gauges and all hardware included. They look great.
6. Looks to me like you can either have it when it is cooler, or when school is out. Sometimes you have to make a choice, I go for cooler but I don't have kids at home.
7. You can find them in the classifieds. Second Generation Parts and Accessories
8. The flaming and bashing won't stop as long as the flamers and bashers have access.
9. Their bike, their trailer.
10. Man, that ain't right. Think I will watch the weather a little longer before I pack the bike and make reservations for the trip to Wildhairs.
11. It has plenty of power, look at the load rating on the tires and ride.
12. Ruffy, I finally made it back from the rally and when I picked up the mail the deflectors were waiting for me. I installed them today and they are awesome. Thanks, these are not only top quality but they also get rid of the mounting brackets that seem to be a weak point. Thanks again.
13. I am going to either go back to the stock pipes or try to pick up a set of road kings, I took the scenic route back home from Harrison and just got back to Texas yesterday. The loud pipes were starting to get a little old by the time I got home. I may see if I can find someone who will trade road kings and hardware for the Sampson's I have on the bike now.
14. OR, you could contact Ponch and buy the kit from him to install gauges in place of the cassette player.
15. Are you needing the entire exhaust system or just the mufflers?
16. Thanks, I haven't quite made it back to Texas from the HUB. I am about 100 miles east of Springfield, Mo. right now, will most likely head back on Wednesday. I will get them on and post a pic. Thanks again.
17. Wrench, There are detailed instructions on this site on how to plug the AIS. It is easier to do if you do it when you are changing oil. You simply take the clamp off two hoses and insert a tapered rubber plug. One of the hoses is on the right side back by the shock, it has a gold clamp on it and is the largest hose, the other is on the left side at the front and just above the oil filter.
18. I stopped the "noise polution" on my bike by plugging. It was poluting the ears.
19. I know this may too late to reach a lot of folks and I apologize for that, but would anyone like for me to throw my CarbTune in? We will be arriving at the HUB on Monday.
20. We aren't leaving here until Sunday, I will check before we leave to see if I need to make a beer stop. Thanks.
21. Right back at ya'
22. Snarley Bill or whoever, Priscilla is driving to the HUB so she can stay in Missouri and visit family after the rally, therefore we are able to make a beer run on the way up. If someone will either answer this post or pm me and let me know if you need for me to buy beer on the way up, we will take care of it. I don't know how the HUB is set up to keep beer cold, anyone know?
23. Ruffy, Looks like I am 10th on the list, we are going to the rally in Harrison and then to Branson and a few other places before heading home, do you need for me to send payment before we leave? We will be gone for approx. 10 days.
24. Looks like I am back to leaving on Sunday, forecast for rain is 80% riding through Oklahoma City and Tulsa on Saturday and down to 10% on Sunday. So.......I am thinking we will leave Sunday and ride to the Tulsa area and then ride on in to the Hub on Monday. Gonna' be fun.
25. I am thinking of leaving on Saturday since will probalby be a little wet. Not sure where I will end up, will probalby just do what the weather dictates, I am hoping to get to the Hub on Sunday. If the weather gets too bad, I may not get there until Monday. Either way, we will see you there. Priscilla is driving so we may have to stop and make a beer run since the Hub is in a dry county. Hope no one will be offended if we show up with beer.
