  1. Tail of the Dragon on GMA Sunday
  2. Thank you to all who served.
  3. Not sure if y'all will see this tonight or not. Hope you had safe rides today. We will be at CB by 9am for the ride. Bronson
  4. Well crap. I wish I had researched a little more. I did the splice trick and gave up on the load equalizer. I just have fast blinkers. Live and learn.
  5. Looking to be a great weekend. Just saw the updated forcast. Rain on Thursday night and early Friday. Clearing out by noon Friday. Sat and Sun, sunny and middle 60s.
  6. If you had been in bed like the rest of us, you would have never known how cold it was.
  7. Latest weather report here is 40% chance of rain/storms on Friday ending early Saturday morning and clearing for Saturday afternoon. High temp for Saturday of 68. Sunday supposed to be sunny and 70. Let's hope for the 60% chance of no rain.
  8. I'll add that, if we are going to visit somewhere and don't have anyone to watch the dogs and don't want to board them, we tralier the bikes and take the mutts with us. Usually at family's house, so no big deal.
  9. This is what I put on my 07. http://www.signaldynamics.com/products/Modules/tristarxp.asp I did not install the load equalizer, but I need to. My lights blink fast. I tried installing the equalizer, but I could not get it to work right. I will say I may have had it hooked to a wrong wire. Just have not retried. I also swapped out my clear lenses on the turn signals to red lenses.
  10. not to get off subject, but IMHO, 20/50 is a little too heavy for this bike. Even in summer weather. But I do run 20w50 in my air cooled VStar. I have been running Rotella Syn (5w40) and rarely notice a tick at all.
  11. They liked to use the chip seal in Okla, too, but not as much as I had seen in TX. For the price of M/C tires, personally, I would be looking at car tires.
  12. Are you entering burn-out contests???My crappy OEM D404s went for 13,000 miles. If you were having mileage issues out of one brand, then that would be understandable. Do you ride on a lot of grooved roads? Is your rear shock ok?
  13. Yep, that's what I am talking about. Just hate to take them off then want to put them back on. Not that I think that would happen.
  14. I am sure there are a few out there. Who has removed the plastichrome accents off their fairing? Preferably blue 2007. Please post picture(s) if you have. I am thinking about taking mine off, but would like to see how it looks first. Thanks
  15. No complaints about my E3s. Just like any time I ride when it is wet, slow down a little. I have 13,000 miles on my E3s and looking at them yesterday, should easily get another 5000 to 8000 miles from them.
  16. Arrrrrrrg! Me scallywag daughter was makin' fun of my talkin today. I made that skervy walk the plank.
  17. My bikes have been the same since new. RSV has 26000miles and brakes still squeal like a pig (metal on metal) Guess it's time to get the organics.
  18. Don't really know if there is anything you can do about the brake noise. Both my Yamas have awefule front brake noise. Only suggestion I could make is pull the pads and rough them up with some sand paper or emory cloth. I have not change mine yet, but the other option might be use organic pads.
  19. Here is a good place to start. As long as you know the town. www.rvparkreviews.com
  20. Don't need to. I just yell, "Hey newbie! Get me that d***ed strip!"
  21. 2 weeks and one day after my horse riding (or falling off) accident in which I broke a rib, I took the bike an a 35 mile round trip ride to Meijer. It felt great to be on it. No problems with the exception of backing the bike up. Still not 100%, but getting better.
  22. I feel for ya. I am nursing a broken rib from a horse fall. Thought I was going to die today when I sneezed. Heal up soon.
  23. "How fast they grow" I saw the topic and thought the same thing, except my daughter. Today was her first day of high school.
  24. Question: Why the pedals? Who the h##l cares if you are going anywhere as long and the beer is flowing?
