Hello everyone, I am scheduled to head out to Vogel and meet some new friends. As of now, unless torrential storms are there, I am going. That said, I am bringing with me guardian bells that were given to me by a rider who wishes to remain anonymous. I only have 9 bells. Steve, This occurred with me and my 765T. I also have to shut it down and restart. Idk why it does this.

For RSV I just put back on Avon VENOM X. This time the proper front tire size as P.O. Had the slimmer size. Michelin commander II. My parts guy states Michelin is in the works for adding more tire sizes and lets hope the add the front size to a RSV. Once they do that, that will be my FIRST choice. Avon venom X performed well in all weather and terrain. So does the Michelin commanders which are on my Vulcan.

Some friends of mine who ride a GW and lute classic usually take wing group rides that way. They brag about the food and ride from Tampa. So by all accounts we have ourselves a winner...

That's great info thanks! I did not know about the hard clear coating acting as an insulator. Better check and clean my battery and posts before Vogel...

Steamer, I think it was you...your post that I read that had me decide to switch to reserve for no surprises. I appreciate the heads up.

Likewise on not depending on the light. Funny thing is, I do not always depend on the bars either. Sometimes one bar will disappear after 5 miles and the other after 35, go figure. My philosophy is similar, I just set the trip odometer and monitor from there. Inalsonhave been turning the valve TO the reserve position to not be surprised when I need reserve fuel, and its just water or something else. Or even it get stuck when I need it most.

how are they in terms of durability and how are you attaching them to RSV?

Curious to know if everyone attending or thinking of attending this years Vogel event will be at the campsite, or is anyone electing a hotel? I was unable to attend, not things have changed and it does look like I am heading that way. Wondering if I will be the only member not sleeping on the campgrounds??

Like Steve, I have one also that came with the bike. Funny thing is, I LIKE IT!! I also have an aux. cable from the fairing to also use for mp3 player, so I get best of both worlds there. Steve did do a great job securing it in his trunk. Mine sits in place on the L saddle bag and I just put my rain gear, cycle pump, fuses and such in there. I use the trunk more than the L saddlebag. I would recommend seeing about asking Steve up on his offer to tinker. The man is, nice, smart, friendly, knowledgable, and lives CLOSE TO YOU !!!!?

Is he now allowed back at family functions and ride events??
