  4. i have several diamond r products, and they are a first class company, with top quality products, and damn fine folks to talk to also!!

I charge $400.00 i have a set in black and a set in silver. i send a set that is completed to you, and you return your set for me to cut for the next guy, and so on.... that way you can see the completed product prior to removal of your set, and then return a set to me, thus leaving you with no "down time" while waiting for your new ("bling") it takes me about 22 hours, and destroys a $60.00 diamond jewelers flywheel bit to create this look. thank you, mike

  11. i have purchased several kits over the years, my local Ace hardware store keeps them in stock, and the average price is $35.00 and comes with everything needed other than the drill. check the ace store where your going?? mike
  12. loosen the retainer cup/nut that holds the spring, then give it a wiggle and re-tighten it and all will be fine. they are rare to need replaced. mike

  15. drop your oil level to half sight glass or a little less. your drips will dry up. mike
  16. i installed the battery tender hook up to my battery, then made a short jumper cable that plugs into the flat 2 connection. i carry it in the bottom of the saddlebag in the event that anyone needs a jump, or if i need a jump. the plug hangs out at the rt rear cyclinder head under the edge of the seat... no need to remove the seat.:whistling:mike

  18. yes the propane will get hot enough, but pull it apart rite after the wax while it's still hot.
  19. brad, do you know how to sweat copper pipe with solder?? get the pipe connection hot and take a regular wax candle and apply to the connection and it will draw inside just like solder to copper... i have used this method on several rusty bolts and auto pipe connections over the years, with great results.. mike
  20. yup... what freebird said.. unbolt them from the mounts, loosen the header clamps, and use the mounting bracket as leverage to giv'em a twist and they slide off for me... over 7 years and 100k of off and ons for tires and repacking. mike

  23. my front tire runs around 95 degrees, and the rear at about 130 on an average summer day. the info that dyno gives you is your best bet, just put any number in and watch and see what it does, then set your warnings at a level that your comfortable with. mike
