  3. 300 myself and when the wife rides along we are 500lbs, i had a a 96 rstc years ago, and i'm gunna hafta join the group here and point towards a rsv, the pillow tops will fit any year 99-2011 and i think they offer a big plus for the long haul. mike

  6. 6000 miles in 2 years will only tell us that you have never driven the tires to a length of time or miles for them to get hot and have any long seat time with them. But I'm happy that you feel safe with them.

  11. all of the manufacture recomendations about tire pressure is great information, however the different sized riders 1 up and 2 up and different speeds, roads and aggressiveness of the rider will change all of the information that has been suggested. mike

  13. as long as the radiator is full and bolted in place, the shroud isnt needed for a short trip. yes my truck is THIRSTY but i'm glad it doesn't run on rootbeer!! there is where the large cost factor comes into play:rotf: and yes!! the floats are the best too!! does that trike ever get that far from home jeff?? mike:cool10:

I'm able to come and help you move it, however i have no plans to bring a trailer or an air tank, you stated that it will run, i will be glad to drive it wherever it needs to go and help get it ready for storage/ tarp/ cover whatever. you don't want to pay the gas bill for my truck to make the 2 hour+ trip. mike

  21. ask the dealership owner to call and talk to the yamaha rep while you are there or make an appointment to do this in advance. it's very easy for the dealer to blame mamma yammaha, and visa versa, however if you put them in the position to set the blame on one or the other....... they will generaly fold and fix your bike. warranty claims that are denied because of damage, are required to show proofe of said damage.... no proofe then no damage.... sounds like warranty claim to me.. most dealers understand this hot seat method and they don't want to play and look like the fool... offer this idea to your dealer and see how quick things move along. then report back. mike:080402gudl_prv:

  24. a man willing to die for what he enjoys... there are many folks that think riding a motorcycle in any protective gear is still a risk. sorry for his loss and his family and friends that agree with what he enjoyed.
