  4. Welcome to the rsv! Don't let any dealer charge you to transfer the warranty!! It takes 2 minutes and yamaha does not charge the dealer to do this. Be sure to transfer even if the warranty has expired, that way any recalls or owner notifications will find you. Ask lots of questions here, we are a family that loves to help. Enjoy- mike:cool10:
  5. You should install a set of my diamond cut fins while you have them off!
  6. 1st check your engine oil level and make sure it is not over full or possibly full of fuel from earlier carb problems... Replace oil and filter if needed.. Then: Remove the plugs, put about a full table spoon+ of trans fluid into each cylinder and then lay a rag over top of each plug hole, and crank the motor over for a few revolutions. Return fresh plugs ( i prefer ngk brand) and try to restart. As said hear earlier, the starting fluid will remove the oil from the cylinder walls and the oil is needed for proper compression .

  14. Twas the night before Christmas and out in the shed, a pair of Royal stars, one green and one red. The bikes were put away, all cleaned and on tenders, wax on the paint and the chrome and the fenders. When out in the street came the sound like no other, twas the thump and the beat of a v4 brother. A bearded man all dressed in leather, his machine all decked out for all kinds of weather. He removed many things from within his tour pack, some from the bags and some from the hack. He brings to your dreams a cover of chrome, a travel mug for coffee a gps to get home, a new set of pipes to make your bike sing, a Spanking new set of Diamond cut Bling ! On first gens on v-max on tour deluxes and hacks, on trikes on second gens from the front to the back. He twisted the throttle as he sped out of sight, to all a Merry Christmas and have a good night!
