The engine lamp might indicate a shorted wire,rule out any aftermarket lights or wire damage before chasing farther than the fuse.

we had 1 vtx rider show up for the root beer run last Saturday Terry walker from Joliet Illinois. this group was started by Venture riders, however it matters not What you ride at all. stick around and make some noise.

Thank you to everyone for attending. we had a great turn out with even more than planned. Ron Moore and family (THE ROOT BEER STAND) owners want me to thank everyone for stopping in and hope to see all of you again! The beers were cold and the food was hot, the weather was perfect, and everyone seemed to enjoy the chatter of meeting old friends and making new ones. We had folks from: Iowa Illinois Wisconsin Tennessee Indiana California I will try to get some pictures posted and i'm sure there are others that can post pictures also. They open at 10:00 am and I will be there at that time. it would be nice to see everyone arrive around that time??, and we can relax and take in a mug of root beer or coffee if you prefer. they offer a full burger type menu that we can enjoy or take in some of the other local offerings. As a group, we can decide if we want to just spend the day there or run around the local parks and maybe the leather shops or sight seeing. I know several are getting enough seat time just to get to here, and might just want to hang around for the fellowship..
