Welcome Chrism ! you already know the rules about posting a picture when your telling about a new ride! outstanding!! jump into the deep end and we will help ya wrench or tell ya what where and when to find a piece of Chrome or a farkle to help make it all your own. several of the members in this group make parts and pieces that are hard to find! so ask before ya search too hard anywhere else, cuz it's all available here! welcome. ride safe.. ride often Mike
  4. Very sorry to hear of your loss, we had to let go of our family member ZEKE a few years ago and he was our best friend for over 15 years, and many folks that don't have pets or in this case a furry family member... just don't understand. it took me 2 years to decide to open up to another ball of furry fun, but it does help. the following message is not intended to make lite of this time, but to help folks understand the love of a pet, and yet not recommended or condoned it does put things into perspective with a touch of humor to sooth the ache . take your doggy and your spouse and lock them both into the trunk of your car for about an hour and a half, and while they are in there, bang on the lid every 20 minutes or so and make sure they don't fall asleep or loose track of time. then open the trunk and see which one of them is HAPPY to see you?? peace brother. Mike
  5. buy a package of juicy fruit gum. the rodents can't stay away from it and it wont harm any other animals. works great for moles in the yard!

  11. oil in the air bladder will not address this concern. it is often a sign of failure to come, but not a guarantee . the noise your hearing is where the chrome has become thin on the shaft of the shock and the rust starts to appear in a short overnight setting and the rust against the oil seal creates a noise until the oil and seal has past over it a few times within the first few bumps of the ride and lubricates the area. eventually it will destroy the seal and the oil will run past until empty. mike
  12. watching also:detective:
  13. posting pictures requires them to be within a size restriction that will pop up when posting. there is a barrons lowering kit available if the bike is too tall for the wife. enjoy the ride. mike
  14. no need to apologize pal, that's what this group is all about!! we enjoy the ride and fellowship and along the way we make a new friend or two by helping them with a question or concern. so? with that said........ whatcha got??

  18. the majority of the items that were given away at the Galena Illinois 2013 rally were donated by companies that we asked to donate and a few of the venders and members of our fine .org. A few of the items were purchased at cost or less than cost from Gieson Motorsports Yamaha of Rock Falls Illinois along with several items that were hand made by Shirley Haywood and Shari Schepp and my wife Cherie. it was just a matter of asking folks to donate items of value that they can make, or that they have lost interest in and some of the things had nothing to do with motorcycles, but were of value or interesting to someone and was small enough to be able to pack into or onto your bike or trailer. the items that were made by the members seem to have been the biggest hit and were more fun than the bigger ticket items from what I could see.
  19. a Ruckus or a road glide ultra, either way would be too small for me:confused07: and equal in the power department:confused24::rotf: I will return to the t-shirt and registration department now, thanks for leaving the door open!!
