consider having the 3m reinstalled as it will happen again over the years. most body shops have the knowledge to replace that 3m coating for you. ride safe.. ride often.. Mike

it is likely a 3m product called a clear bra. not a factory item and yes if you are patient with a heat gun, it will peel.
