No....Just remove the chrome trim...(VERY CAREFULLY) you can break off a tab and don't ask how I know.....Loosen the bolts holding the windshield on. No need to remove. Slide the flat part of the bags between dash and windshield and tighten the bolts back up. No need to torque real tight. Replace the windshield chrome trim and enjoy. Thats about it. I use this more for filming my Pistol Matches, but decided to take it with us yesterday on a trip South on the BRPKWY (Blue Ridge Pkwy). Went down to Mabry Mills on the Pkwy for lunch (about 120 South on the Parkway from Lynchburg, VA and then dropped off on State Rt. 8 on the way back. Tried out the GoPro part of the way down. I lived three hours East of there for 26 years. Fishing, Hunting, Camping place to be. Land Between the Lakes is "GREAT". Just south of there is Real Foot Lake in TN. Great Fishing Hopkinsville, KY very near there was once listed in the top ten places to retire. Cost of living, activities, etc. Kentucky and Barkley Lakes are both 50, 000 acre impoundments. Top 5 places in the country for crappie fishing. The spillway below the dams hold the trout, Browns and Rainbows. I have caught a few of them back in the day. Just saying....When you retire there, can I rent a room on the weekends now and then? Long Tall Lynchburg, VA

Year before last the wife and I did a trip to South Dakota and back to Ole Virginia. That was in the Fall. The following Spring I noticed the Clutch Slipping badly. A lot of hill here in Ole Virginia (BLUE RIDGE PKWY). Bought Earls Upgrade and rode all of last year and pulled to trailer to NC Mtns and Pulled Trailer to Galena International. Clutch works just like it did that day AFTER I put it in. Note..EASY JOB. Put Bike one kick stand and done deal. Emailed Earl a couple of questions and he was very helpful. I recommend the highly... My "HIGH TECH" So I came home this afternoon and decided that BIG RED needed her Carbs tuned up. Coming back from Galena I noticed a slight vibration when accelerating around a Semi. Sure enough she needed a little adjustment. Thought I would post some pics of my HIGH TECH instrument. Read about it on a web site in 2007 and its worked like a charm ever since. The tubing for each side is about 9'. There is a "bead inside the tube about 4" from the ends connected to the vacuum ports. I used 2 cycle oil inside the tubes. Note that I went "FIRST CLASS" on the yardsticks. Aluminum versus Wood. BIG RED deserves nothing but the best. I did not post the before pics carbs on the right side of bike as I set on it were way out. They always seem to be the ones that need adjusted. Any who...Since 2 cycle oil has much less viscosity than mercury, I think the adjustment works well and it as served me well for 5 yrs now. Pic's are after adjustment. NOTE: I have never got them "PERFECT" the adjustment screws just are not finite enough using 2 cycle oil. When they are this close with 2 cycle oil, I get a very smooth motor at both idle and highway speeds. Long Tall Carb Sync'in Here in Ole Virginia...

The one I bought as the Traffic Update thing build into the power cord. Do you use it in the Power Outlet, you another type of power cord or direct wire and just forget about the Traffic Stuff? Thanks for the information....

What Freebird said...EXCEPT...When I had the 3G set in place on our half helmets, mic location was fine. THEN....THEN...THEN I put on a three snap "HALF" face shield and a three button snap on "FULL" face shield on the helmets. It was a "STRETCH" for the mic. IN order to allow for the use of shields in case of "weather" one would need to extend the mic like IronMike did. Just saying. Another reason we sent them back and opted for the universal adapter. Long Tall PS. IF I had a 3/4, Modular or Full helmet I would do the EDSETS in a HEARTBEAT. TOTALY PLUG AND PLAY.... THEY ARE A QUALITY ITEM...
