Simple fix, Don. Get them to remove your liver then it'll have nowhere to go. (Hang on a minute Spear! What sort or statement is that?) Sorry Don - sort of forgot myself there for a minute.

Who makes the best quality slip-ons?

You had me worried there for a minute. When I saw the title of your thread I started thing, "Latex or chrome. Latex or chrome?" :rotfl::rotf: -
Hey boss, That extra $US12 I sent you for 2 years - if there's somebody more deserving who can't scratch up the $12 for some reason, please apply it to their 'membership'. Spear BTW - how's the vision side of things with you?

Don, Not the one I was thinking off but does this help? http://www.zazzle.com/

Don. Give me a day or so. There's an ex-pat Aussie living in California somewhere who is a graphic artist and tee-shirt printer. He is also a CB750 Honda 4 man. That's how I know him. He did a couple of tee-shirts for me years ago and he is a master. I'll go back through my stuff and see if I can find or remember him. Stand by - - - Spear

Welcome back mate. Wondered where ya got to. I coulda told you years ago that wetting nylon filament is no fun. Twistin' with the right wrist is!

Don. Just noticed that you too are a Supporting Member. That's selling yourself very short my friend. Surely you can change that to The Big Kahuna?

Here in my home state in Australia, the powers-to-be don't worry about motor cycle colours being described on rego papers. Different matter for tin-tops though. You can re-paint your bike all you like here and nobody gives a tinker's cuss!

Beware using your debit card at the gas pump

Boy - talk about the land of the free and the land of opportunity. It looks like the US banks are free to do what they like, whenever the opportunity arises. Never heard of anything like that happening anywhere Down Under. The again we didn't have any banks collapsing because of reckless home loans, or any auto manufacturers going bust and leaving thousands out of work or - - - - etc etc. Gotta admit, eh Aussies? There's no place like home! -
I should also add Annie, that I looked at the same out-rigger on-line after seeing it featured in ARR. Don't think I can quite justify the cost, somehow. Sure is a great addition, and who knows - maybe some day - I'll lash out and buy one. Did you paint it or get the manufacturers to match it for you?

I think those front forks are left overs from Annie's side car set-up?

Hey Crash. Onwards and upwards from here old mate. What beautiful kids!

Hey Grandpa Randy. Twins still in hospital. Nothing too serious I hope. Premmies? Hope all is well and goes well. Send us some photos, won't ya?

Sure is. I am. I did. (Lots of 'em.)

I just started off with the basics. Got myself a TomTom for $196. Does a remarkable job either on the RSV or in the Subie. What I like about it is riding with it set on 3D, and 'reading' the bends before I get to them.

Time to bore y'all again. Had another visit with 'the kids' last weekend. Took a few more shots and I'd like to share a couple with you - again. First shot is the pillion-in-a-million with Toby. Second shot is the man himself. (Note the throttle grip of the right hand!) Enjoy.

Huh! (Skite?)

Thanks for showing those Peg. I don't think there is that many Ventures in all of Australia!

I thought I better come back on this one. My cover cost me 99c + $20 freight (rip-off!) However, when you consider that the thing only cost me $20.99, I'm more than happy with it. Like the posts above say - it's very light and packs into a very small draw-string bag that fits in a corner of a pannier. I use it as a dust cover, and the pillion threw my old and rotting heavy duty cover over the top again. At least it'll be very warm during the winter. Only got to 13 degC (55degF)today. Rained most of the day. And no - I didn't ride to work!

I like it! Giving me inspiration to do mine. Starting to get a bit bored with basic white! I'm thinking of that paint that reacts to temperture. Might be pricey, but hey - it'd sure be different!

Annie, I gather, when you say "gremlin bell" you refer to the Guardian Bell? If so - have look at this. Hang it on a helmet lock.

Way to go Annie. My 85 years old Dad will be marching. Me? I was gonna slap on my medals and join the locals but unfortunately I have some urgent renovations and repairs to do on a house I own about 100kms away and it's gonna take me 2 days to do them. Will however attend the service in that town - 2 blocks from the house. Enjoy the day, and "Come In Spinner." (That'll get the Yanks thinking!)
