I would look by the mall Rt 30 & I55. Motel 6, Super 8 and there are a few more in that area. Steve Taskay

When you will be leaving the IR will determine where you stop. If you drive up 39/51 to Tomahawk that will be close to 300 miles. I would not recommend driving past 7 p.m. as there has been many deer vs car and bear vs car accidents. Tomahawk will be the gateway to the Northwoods and all the farm fields will end and dense forest will start. If you happen to stop in Tomahawk that is where we live and a nice place to camp for the night can be at the Tomahawk Speedway, Sara Park or Duck Point Resort. Just purchased a 2000 RSV MM #733/1500. My wife and I are new riders and have 1/2 helmets. We will be using them on trips and sometimes without in the city.
