ya phil I also very interested in buying an f4 and I was also curious if the vent is worth the money. I was thinking about getting one with vent but if there is not much airflow through the vent them I am not going to get it. And was the rain getting through real bad or is it managable. thanks

hey guys I was going to install these polk speakers on my 07 venture and I was going to put some bass blockers on them. But I am not sure which bass blockers I should put on. Can anyone one help me please. Also I know many of you put on aftermarket amps on to, which ones do you perfer and where did you install them at. Also what do you guys think of these speakers. well I have finally got to ride my 07 rsv for couple days now. I have to say I love it, it runs great, rides smooth and I went on the highway and I was going 80 mph and it didn't even feel like I was going that fast. The only thing I don't like are the wipes, I wish they came out with some screw on short attenna's for the rsv. Or even might do the marshall mod but we will see. I also got my bike barn cover and it is sweet because I just pull it in and swing the front half down and I am done and the bike is cover. Great investment if you don't have a garage like me.

Marshall Mod 2nd gen
gamberch replied to gamberch's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
so did any of you have to take the gas tank and seat and fairing apart so you could use the rg8x 12' pre-made coax cable or did you just cut the attenna wire. -
I have been doing lots of research but I still haven't come across and easy step by step instructions for doing this marshall mod everyone talks about. I would like to do this mod but I am a newbie and complete dummy when it comes to this attenna stuff. Can anyone help me with what I have to purchase for the installation and how to do it. Please!!!!

haha well I will be going to go get it from the dealer in a week so I prob post some sound for ya -
Well I got a call today from my local yamaha dealer. They called me to let me know that they finished with all of the service on the bike. They rebuilt the carb, and put dunlop elite e3, battery and oil change. And washed it, so I got to go and see it and sit on it outside and started the beauty up. Man it has bubs on and it was so nice, deep throaty rumble. Man it got me so excited to get out and ride but this damn snow and cold weather just wont go away. Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr someone please send me some nice weather my way!

I will be interested in a decal. I wouldnt even mind buying one of those bells but looks like you already sent the order, unless you have extra

well I have use motorcycle covers and I really don't care for them. There just a big pain in the butt. So I decided to do some research and I found the bike barn. This is the best solution if you have to store you bike outside. Yes I know its 400 bucks but its alot cheaper then a shed or garage. http://www.thebikebarn.net/tourermodel.html

hey everyone, as many of you know I have just bought my rsv. I do have a backrest for the driver but it is not removable. And I like to have the option to take it out or put in so I found this website. Have any of you use this backrest and how does it feel. Thanks you for you inputs! http://www.grasshopperlimited.com/99-up-yamaha-venture/
