    could be something simple as when the air was checked the stem did not seat all the way, when refilled the stem seated good.

    Someone used hockey pucks for shims and notched one out.

    you might be bumping the heel shifter and not realize your doing it.

    The needle on the slide. it could be the slide is not going all the way down shutting fuel down and flooding the plugs. If you think you may have coolant leak into cyl try putting a piece of cardboard at the exhaust pipe to see if it's getting wet. still think your problem is carb related.

    You may have the needles stuck wide open allowing the fuel to flood the cyl. If your taking the carbs off Sat check to make sure they are moving freely. and shutting off the fuel when closed. you can hook up a fuel line to the carbs when their off and check for proper operation.

    Looks like the clear coat ate the rear wheel right off.

    It is electronic so the memory of pushing and pushing was just trying to catch up to the commands you pushed.

    I have a Clymer book at the back is a supplement section 25 pages for the 05 and up RSTD.

    you can check the timing. if it's off it's likely the Igniter unit. if the pickup coil and Ignition coil is good. No adjustments on the timing but can help finding a problem.

    A carb sync should fix it.

    Are you checking the fluid with the bike upright off the side stand > if not it will look low then blow it out the over flow when warmed and riding.

    yes, have to take the panel off.

    I ride every day I can so I never turn it off except for the winter or removing the tank to run wires.

    Ok, if I change both will I need to put relays and wire both the same or just one ?
