does the brake work ? is the lever sloppy?, can make the switch loose. check the wiring.

I use GTX 20w-50W oil and usually a fram oil filter.

Had a battery that kept discharging and it checked ok at the battery shop, one day I took it to another shop and told then what was going on. when the guy put the load on it it read good but he said I'll leave it a little longer and about 30 sec later the battery started showing bad. bad cell in battery. this battery was only 3 months old and failed. just bought a new battery from the shop the found the problem. Yes I hate battery/electrical problems

If I was going to spend that much it would be a Venture. I bought my 07 RSTD with 7000 miles for $5200.00. cheaper to find an owner that can't or don't ride anymore because it's too much bike for them.

try finding a shop that sells the baffle wrap and put more in the pipe. end pieces easy to remove on the LAC's.
