    I was thinking about posting this very same question i have seen this inconsistency with my 06 when i am 1 up i will get more mileageup to 20 miles before flipping the petcock after the indicator gos on but when i am 2up its all over the place sometimes right after the indicator comes on or 2-10 miles later

    spud you forget the over heating issue on the gold wing and the pain it takes to change the air filter,cramped leg space/etc.etc. i like the fact that we expose the problems with this bike it helps get the work done i can go here get the info use it myself or show it to the local wrench and he spends less time looking for problems my buddie on a Victory talks in a groop about no problems with his bike i start picturing all the times i had to push start him and go get his truck and some other guys trailer to get him back home 1/2 my day gone so many do not want to admit to there bikes flaws so they keep a tight lip i knew all about these issues before i bought and i would do it again oh! one more thing you can't get a vtx with that V-4

    Just finished mine it was 1hr job mine raised 1.5in i don't fell a big change in the way it sits but wow! did it change the way it handles i think with a little practice i will be making U turns in the middle of the street i just plain forgot to do some slow riding on the test i went to the local school parking lot and did a few circles and was very pleased i made them a month ago wish i had not waited so long to put them on

    I have the sears M/C jack theres a lota stuff under there to rock on and i seem to remember something about mounting 2x4s on the runners of this jack witch way do they mount down each runner or across from one to the other in two places or in block form @each corner? and do they go on edge or flat and thanks for all the help that is about to come oh! this is for a 2nd gen

    How big a hole in the bracket for the peg and what is its center location from front of bracket edge and from bottom of bracket edge?

    or you could buy a 2nd gen.

    If you have a black cherry Venture your outa luck yamaha is not painting it in that color you will have to buy the primer unit an have it custom painted to much $$$ for me that was going it be my first add on then the rack
