  1. WOOOHOOO! You mean I won't have to listen to NEWTrk go 'Buddy are you there?' Buddy can you hear me?' Buddy? Buddy? Buddy? :happy65:
  2. PJ constructive suggestions are always welcome. I am thinking of a co-pilot photo scavanger hunt during the rally. All co-pilots would be provided a list of things in the area to take pictures of.
  3. Stardays 09 is in Montana next year isn't it?
  4. I wish but nope, not this time. We're going to be in Stillman Valley, IL, just south of Rockford, on Saturday afternoon, so we'll be cutting across Iowa, east to west on this trip.
  5. Sorry, we can't. We're doing the same thing taking the scenic way to get to Eureka Springs, but we're leaving Friday September 5th. We'll be visiting Missouri, Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin before we get to Eureka Springs on the 10th. Have a good trip and see you there!
  6. It is a dry county - I've heard that the closest place to buy beer is 25 miles away, so you will need to bring your own and have it on ice in your room. I understand that Randall the owner has said something to Bill along the lines that he would help with the ice. And Arkansas in August it is going to be HOT!
  7. I went searching for her - her name is Carol Youorski, nickname Skert. Here is her website http://www.pinkribbonrides.com/index.html. I will have to contact her to see what we can do.
  8. I knew that as soon as I posted that - so fill your trailer and request donations for your cause. Sounds like a plan.
  9. You'd better get a trailer and pack it with ice and Corona - you could make a killing selling beer out of a trailer.
  10. I haven't figured out how yet, but I will get even. :whistling: You'd better watch your backs. Thanks for backing me up Bill!
  11. Bill, you're in the St Louis area, why don't you make it your special project to get Anheuser-Busch be the free beer vendor at the meet. :rotf:
  12. Somehow I knew that would be your suggestion. How about if YOU show us the correct way of doing it on say 200 bikes? :whistling:
  13. Pictures from Saturday - a great time was had by everyone who attended! 1. The Wpredock and Buddy didn't want to park their goldwings next to the RSVs. 2. The RSV parking. 3. NEWTrk06 and Wpredock at Lamberts. 4. Wpredock, Cyndi (Mrs, Dandy1), and Dandy1 sharing a bench waiting for our name to be call at Lamberts. 5.Dandy1 and Buddy studying the menu at Lamberts. 6. Dooder1, Colesgrandpaw, Ctaylor, Mrs. Ctaylor (I'm sorry I forgot Mrs. Ctaylor's first name), and Joan (Mrs. Colesgrandpaw) waiting at Lamberts. 7. The entire group at lunch. Will someone throw me a roll? 9. Lambets, home of the thrown rolls in Ozark, MO, just a short ride between Branson and Springfield - put it on the must eat places if you attend the 2009 International Rally in AR - about a 70 mile ride from The Hub.
  14. If you have any questions - give Phil a call he lowered his a couple of years ago. You have our number
  15. Oh, I agree, I don't ride my own bike, but I love to ride with my husband and take pictures, but there are some people in the co-pilot seat that just might enjoy an activity or two that are non bike related. And we want to make sure they have a good time too!
  16. Ladies, The 2009 Rally has a goal of making sure that there is something for everyone. What kind of events, activities, games, or prizes would you like to see, do, experience, etc. We want to make sure that everyone has a good time at the rally and need your input to help us out with our planning. Guys, What kinds of activities would your wife enjoy being a part of during the rally?
  17. Your family are in our prayers.
  18. Phil wanted to add a disclaminer to the this post - if you buy the silver and black coat, the mesh reflects and you wind up with a sunburnt face. Phil says he'll take a picture of my face to show you if you need to see it....
  19. Here's a link to the website where I picked up the mesh jackets for Phil and I. Yesterday was the first time we worn them for any distance, and they were great. I am very happy that we got them. http://store.valueaccessories.net/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=1644&MMP=1014317010
  20. NEWTrk06 and I got home about 8:30 tonight, took our time and took the scenic way home. It was a fantastic day to ride and great company.
  21. bump
  22. Shameless Plug? I didn't think we were ever shameless.... Did you see the banner at the top of the page for the 09 rally?
  23. We'll miss seeing your ugly face , but are happy to hear that you got a get up and get going report from your doctor!
  24. bump - we always have fun at Lamberts, expecially when we catch the rolls they throw at us! But we're up for anything.
  25. Do you have a city mayor? You need to bypass the office staff and go directly to the top. We live in a very small town in OK, and Phil has learned when he wants anything done he goes to city hall and talks to the mayor. He doesn't go to our local council person, she just irrates us, he goes to the mayor directly. Our street light went out, he went to the mayor and that week a crew was out replacing the light. We had a couple of pot holes in our subdivision, again he went to the mayor, that took a couple of weeks but the two pot holes he complained about were filled, the other pot holes in in the subdivision were never touched, only the ones he told the mayor about.
