Great pictures! Thanks for sharing. The last time we did Yellowstone was January of 04. It's amazing covered in snow too!

Ours has been out for almost 3 years and we like it this way. Never looked into getting it replaced.

Phil and I are coming too! Our schedule this year keeps us away from a lot of events, but we are planning to come and join the group at the Hub on the 23rd. We may not be there by lunch - so don't wait for us, but we will be there as soon as we can make it.
-
Cool! Our phone number is listed in our member info. We are usually around - except for when we are riding. Let us know when you are in the area next time.

I ditto the welcome. We get to your area everyonce in a while. Next time we will give you a heads up when we do. If you get to Tulsa let us know. Phil & Diane

Kenny, We're sorry to hear that you went down and ended up with a broken bone. Last fall Phil dumped us in a parking lot in AR. He was lucky that he did not break anything since both his feet were caught under the bike and bent in ways they should not have been. Glad that you and Beth are back home and safe and sound. Take it easy and heal! We are so glad that even though you got hurt that you didn't get hurt worse than what you did!

The problem is guys that Phil and I had an unexpected trip to Wisconsin for most of last week and we just want some at home time. Have a great time and have a cold one (diet coke) that is for us.

Have a great time! We'll be thinking of you, since we won't make it this weekend. Rosebud & NEWTrk

It's wasn't just Motor Sports Superstore with the backorder issue. Phil had been watching South Seattle Sports website for the carb covers and they too were back ordered each and every time he looked at them. So finally we decided that the only way he was going to get a set was to be on the backorder list for them. We waited, and called, and waited and called, and waited and called. They were always backordered, and the staff at South Seattle Sports were always great about the while thing. Then one afternoon I called and they couldn't find my order in the backorders any more. They had been shipped the day before I called. Phil waited 7 months to get his carb covers and is very please with them. -
Buddy and Peg, and Carl, Congratulations to all of you for raising fine young men. I have a soft spot in my heart for marines. I had a brother who was one many years ago. One of my co-workers. his son just graduated from basic training this past Friday 4/17 from San Diego. My co-worker and his wife were there for his graduation. His son is home for 10 days before heading back for additional training before deployment. Thank you for sharing your sons with our country! Diane & Phil

Years ago we camped in Greenbelt National Park on the outskits of DC for 2 weeks - 7 miles from downtown. Much cheaper than the RV parks, and much nicer too. They supplied all the firewood we could burn at that time for about $7 a day. Besides what you can see in DC - don't forget Gettysburg, Annapolis, and the Camp DAvid area. We also spent a weekend camping right on the Atlantic Ocean (but I don't remember where now). DC is one of my favorite cities in this country - there is so much history there to soak up. My favorite thing to do is at the end of the day to spend a quite evening sitting on the steps of the Lincoln memorial watching the moon over the capital building. Have a great time! It's a fantastic trip. I want to go too!

We made it to Texas today on our virtual ride. The bluebonnets are just beautiful this time of year.

Well we haven't seen the Grand Canyon either, maye you should stop by our place in Oklahoma, pick us up and we could do the Grand Canyon with you then go see the bluebonnets in Texas.

Newtrk and I are in and ready to leave on our virtual ride. We just have to decide where we want to go. I'm thinking that I want to see the bluebonnets in Texas, then ride the Natchez Trace, from there head on down to Florida and see our youngest daughter. Then after we wear out our welcome at her house maybe we should head up to DC via the Smokie Mountains and Blue Ridge Parkway so that I can sit on the steps of the Lincoln memorial, haven't done that in 10 years now and I can hear Lincoln starting to call my name again. Then we would have to make a detour and go to New Hampshire since we're so close. After that I imagine that we'll have to start making our way home, but we'll have make another detour to see Niagria Fall. And since we saw one daughter in Florida, we'll have to stop in Chicago to see the other daughter before we finally head back to Oklahoma. Of course, NewTrk may have other plans - so we'll have to see where he wants to go on his virtual ride.

Let me try to explain who Lowell is... he is a retired old coote who lives to ride and rides to live out of East DeBerry Texas. He tries to make every meet and eat and every rally that he can across the country. He is out riding most of the time and goes home every once in a while to make sure that he still has a happy home. He's the best guy you can ever hope to meet, always happy to ride with someone for a while, or share a pot of coffee or a bottle of beer. He never lets any moss grow under his feet. And when you get the chance to meet him, you will never ask again who this Lowell fellow is again, there are no strangers to Lowell, only people who have not had the chance to meet him yet. How many miles does Lowell average a year? 60,000 - 80,000 miles? How many tires does he go through in a year? Don, maybe that should be the next contest - we could guess how many miles Lowell is going to put on his bike in 2009? What do you think????

I hate to tell you but you are a little early for the first day of Spring. It is not today, but March 20th. It was my father-in-laws birthday.

Cliff, Phil and I thought of you and Elizabeth today when we replaced our flag with the new one the Elizabeth had sent me from when she was stationed in Kuwait. I said a prayer for you and your family thanking you for your service in protecting and serving this great country as I raised the flag, and asked God to protect those in active duty today. Thank you both for such a wonderful gift. Diane and Phil Austin

Count us OUT! Phil's on call that week so we'll have to pass this time.

Ours was fun, our oldest daughter got engaged. They are hoping to be able to get married later this year if all their plans work out - this could mean a major shift in our plans but that's okay.

Has anyone seen or heard from Buddy lately? I know a while back he was changing to a high speed ISP connection, but I cannot remember seeing his since that change... Buddy if you are lurking on the sidelines - give us a signal that you are okay! Hope that you and Peg had a wonderful Christmas and a very 09.

Hey Bill, at this time we're not sure that we're going to make Bass Pro on Jan. 24th. Work has been hetic lately and I expect that may still be the case then. We'll try to make it is the best we can do right now. Don't talk about me if we can't make it!
