  1. Yepper, what the boss says....
  2. If the trunk rack is like a lot of add-on Yamaha parts, they wait until they have enough back orders to make it worth their while to manufacture them. We waited 8 months for chrome carb covers.
  3. Awesome! Congratulations!
  4. Or Alieve! We're glad you guys are okay too!
  5. If you are only 4 1/2 miles from the Hub - why isn't every one just hanging out at your house and letting Dale smoke some briskets?
  6. Ponch - that's excellent - glad that LilBit will be able to go.
  7. Great pics, glad that you had a great trip and made it home safe and sound.
  8. Here's the link to Lamberts: http://www.throwedrolls.com/shopcontent.asp?type=Ozark it's a few miles south of Springfield, MO. They are know for hot fresh home made rolls that they throw at you.
  9. I heard that you did not have to make reservations for camping at the Hub, only for hotel rooms. Have a great time.
  10. Hey Cinderella and Wrongway and everyone else thinking of Lamberts on their way to the 2009 Rally- Are you still planning to meet up at Lamberts for lunch on Sunday? As you know NEWTrk and I can't be at the Hub this year thanks to our daughter making wedding plans and expecting us to be there, but thought that we could meet up with you at Lamberts on Sunday if it's still in your plans. Let us know if you are still planning of the 12:30 - 1PM timeframe and we'll see you there. BTW we also have some raffle prizes to donate and this would save us the cost of mailing them.
  11. Welcome!
  12. We are happy that your situation turned around today and that Tanner was found. Take care of your family, they need your strength at this time.
  13. You could always make your signature line something like what Boomer does - Aussie Annie - who is Awesome (Boomer sez so)
  14. Have a great vacation. Take lots of pictures.
  15. If you buy a laptop now with the VISTA OS you are suppose to be able to upgrade to MS7 when it's available at no additional cost - so when you do purchase your laptop make sure that that is included in your deal.
  16. Boy is this place educational - here I was thinking a rear end vent is another name for passing gas....
  17. We're an eating club with a riding disorder - well I heard about another group with an eating disorder today that could use a little help to get them past the 4th of July. It is a not for profit organization called Pizza for Patriots that is planning to send a cargo plane full of pizzas to our military serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. A donation of $10 will cover the cost of pizza for 2 soliders. Phil and I are going to feed several of them - Take a look at their website to see if you can feed a couple of soliders too! http://www.pizzas4patriots.com/ Let's help support this great project.
  18. We've been to DC twice to the real wall and the moving wall when ever it's in the area. Thanks for escorting it. Next time - say hello to my brother he's on panel 39E line 66.
  19. I was glad to see your update tonight. I was about ready to start making phone calls to find out how you are doing! Do your therapy it might hurt now, but it will pay off in the end big time.
  20. We are close enough to go over for a day - we did that last year - not sure if it's in the plans this year. Check with colesgrampa was there last year too. It's a lot of fun just to sit on mainstreet and watch all the bikes that ride up and down it.
  21. Phil has gone to Avons on the bike and also has lowered the front end 1 inch. He had tried the lowering kit on the rear and ran with that about 6 months before he switched the rear back to stock. The changes he made works for him.
  22. We have never had an issue with spam from this site - other sites yes, but never tied to VentureRider.org.
  23. I don't know, I saw a beautiful blue sky with high clouds that just asked me to out outside and spend the day enjoying it from the back of the bike? Didn't you guys see that?
  24. Excellent! You can't have too many lights.
  25. I am a dinosaur. I'm a mainframe programmer still working in COBOL. I work for the leading bank financial software company in the world. I was hired 21 years ago as a third shift computer operator trainee with no mainframe experience at the local bank. They hired me since I was willing to work third shift. In the 21 years I have worked my way from being an operator trainee, to lead operator, to programmer trainee, to programmer, to my promotion earlier this year to senior programmer. I an dedicated programming staff for the bank - (they were kind enough to move my husband and I to Oklahoma 5 years ago so we are not dealing with the 15% unemployment that our old community is dealing with). I am responsible for the Customer Information Systems. This means the bank doesn't trust me with money, but I am trusted to keep everyone's personal information safe and secure; which might be even more important in this day and age. I know enough about PC workings to keep our personal ones up and running cleanly, but if you need help with your mainframe programs or you just bought a bank need it converted just give me a shout.
