  1. Oldest daughter - responsible gainfully employed adult number 1 Youngest daughter - responsible gainfully employed adult number 2 LOL - our daughters are adults on their own with good jobs living their dreams!
  2. BUMP - I had not seen that there was a change in the target and was wondering what was happening with this. Now that I know what the target is, I may be able to do something about it.
  3. While riding through Missouri over the weekend we saw huge blinking signs on the interstates reminding all drives to share the roads with motorcycles and to watch out for motorcycles. Signs like those should be left up all the time.
  4. It was a great weekend. Phil and I got home just before 6 tonight, but crashed as soon as we walked through the door. We put on just a little over 1000 miles in the two days. It was great. It's always wonderful to greet old friends and make new friends too. This website makes all of us friends. I've never met a stranger on this site. Stange people of course, but a stanger, no. Bill and Linda thank you so much for sharing your patio and your hospility. We are glad you let us come at the last minute. Of course the highlight of my weekend was responding to a text from my boss who was at the casino just a couple of miles from our house that Phil and I could not join him at the casino for drinks we were in St. Charles, Missouri having dinner with 20 friends.
  5. 31 years on May 29th.
  6. You're right Tom it is more important to be in Lowell's GPS than it is to be on his friend list. Cause you know he'll show up on your doorstep sometime in the next few weeks or so.....
  7. Here are pictures of my Diamond R Passenger Highway Pegs. The fold back and out of the way when not in use and flip forward when you want to use them. I usually leave them flipped forward when we ride so I can use them when I feel like it, and Phil has never complained that they get in his way. The orange is 'O' rings that Phil added to prevent my foot from slipping off.
  8. We sure wish the news was better for the two of you. In the meantime we're keeping you and Jeanie in our prayers JT. We're wrapping you and your family in a virtual hug. Can't you just feel the caring and and love we're sending to both of you.
  9. I cleaned out the closet and put ads in the classifieds tonight for a Lowrance GPS and Diamond R Passenger Highway Pegs. Just thought if anyone is in the market for either check out the classifieds.
  10. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your wife. Rosebud and NEWTrk
  11. Didn't you know that is number 2 in the book A WOMENS GUIDE TO MEN - help men make up their minds!
  12. Is this the Ken Worth that lives down the block from me? Or any Ken Worth in the world. :whistling:I wonder how many Ken Worths there really are????:whistling: Sorry - was having a blond moment... Couldn't help myself:rotf::rotf:
  13. Honey, The barges coming out of the Port of Catoosa (most inland seaport in the United States for any one interested) do not have cars on them. Lots of stuff - but no cars. I'll keep looking but you may have to go take another picture Honey.
  14. Lowell, sorry to hear about your loss. He is in a place surrounded my many loving people who will take good care of him in heaven. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Diane & Phil
  15. No Ferry boats that I know of in Oklahoma, will a barge work?
  16. Buddy - you did a great job in getting Pops lined up. It is no one's fault that Pops did not follow through with what they promised to do. Phil and I suspect that they asked their staff about working extra and didn't get any volunteers to work our group. So we all got to eat in small groups - but we did get to hang out together on the patio and the wind was blocked so it was comfortable. It was a great time, with the best part just getting together with everyone. We will have to do it again, we'll just pick a different place in a different location. I think we did good for the first time of putting one of these together. You did GREAT Buddy. Remeber to call Phil this week while you are in Tulsa. He's looking forward to hanging out with you one day.
  17. Here are a few pictures from the Oklahoma Meet and Eat. http://s7.photobucket.com/albums/y262/venturerider/OK%20MnE%2004%2012%2008/ It was a great time meeting old friends for the first time in person. Thanks to everyone who was able to make it in the winds and cold temperatures in the 50's.
  18. Wild Hair, Lowell, The Ambassador is high and dry in Pauls Valley, OK tonight. I had to call and check on him tonight with all the storms moving between his house and OKC this week. He did wind up in the middle of a hail storm this week, otherwise he's stayed a step a head of the storms.
  19. Peggy, I sent you an invitation to view my Colorado pictures through snapfish to your email address. When you sign into snapfish you then have access to my album that I had uploaded to snapfish just like it was your own. This is a normal thing for snapfish. I have access to several albums of one of my neices. And this is how we share pictures with our daughters when we don't get to see them very often. Why don't you try deleting a couple of the pictures in the album and see if snapfish will let you. I bet you cannot delete the pictures since you don't really own the album...
  20. When we moved to Oklahoma 4 years ago one of the first things we ran across was someone in Bixby Oklhoma just on the south side of Tulsa who had 2 LIVE giraffes in their front yard. Haven't been past there is a couple of years, will need to take a detour and see if the giraffes are still around. Keep your eyes open and you never know what you might see.
  21. We were stalked. NEWTrk and I were riding through Granite OK in May of 06, first long ride with the new bike and next thing we know is we were being stalked by Wild Hair. He was sitting on a front porch as we rode by jumped on his 1st gen and followed us. He trapped us in a dead end at Quartz Mountain and forced us into a corner and made us take his card with this website on it. Best advertisment this site has is 'The Ambasador'. Thanks Lowell! You always have a place in Catoosa to hang you hat.
  22. Peggy, I bet that I send you an invitation to view my snapfish photos. Those look like the photos that I uploaded to snapfish to have. I printed about 100 photos from our vacation out of the almost 3000 pictures I took those two weeks. I bet that's why you have them. The only time I upload photos to snapfish is to either share with our daughters or to print. I will have to see if I can see who I sent the invitation to look at my pictures. Glad that you liked them. Do you want my pictures from Branson this weekend? We're heading out later this morning for the weekend. Diane
  23. Yama Mama, what are you doing with my photos? How did you get them? Have you hacked into my computer? I didn't know that you knew how to do that.... Do you need pictures of Branson? We're headed there for the weekend. I can always take a couple of extra pictures for you. BTW - the texas plates are TOM's from Texas. I was showing his cobweb off.
  24. Right now the headcount stands at around 20, pretty good for our first time at attempting this. If you haven't yet said you want to join us, don't worry, just show up next Saturday at Pops. See you then!
  25. Hey thanks for posting the thread count Buddy. It looks like we're going to have a pretty good turnout!
