  1. Both the HW PEGS and the GPS were sold right away. Sorry
  2. You will have a hard time keeping up with your wife after she has healed. My mother had her hip replaced about 6 years ago at the young age of 82. Today at 88 she's walking 2 - 3 miles a day and swimming when the weather cooperates. She is going to feel so much better! Give her our best!
  3. NewTrk and I have been talking about our choice for a 2009 rally we think North West Arkansas would be great - it's just a hop skip and jump for us, however look at the pros and cons of being in Arkansas in the summer. Pros - great roads Ozarks are beautiful Branson and Springfield MO nearby Close enough to ride to OKC Close enough to go to Hot Springs Close enough to go to Little Rock Fun ferry on Hwy 125 Motorcycle friendly area War Eagle Mill Trout Fishing Camping Cons - Hot and Humid
  4. If you need a break while you're following Route 66 through Oklahoma - we live just a couple of miles off the highway in Catoosa on the northeast side of Tulsa - give us a heads us, and be sure you stop and check out the Blue Whale in Catoosa right on the highway.
  5. Welcome! I see you are in Owasso, we're located in Catoosa. Nice to see more local people - we ride an 06 RSV.

  6. Hey Cinderella! Did you and Dale sell your trailer on ebay? We are curious since Phil is thinking of selling his black cherry trailer.
  7. Congratulations Brad! So happy for you and Lonna to have a new bike in that fantastic color! :happy65::happy65::happy65::happy65::happy65::happy65: Gibvel, we have seen the color in person and it is awesome. If that color had been available when Phil got his bike, we would not have a black cherry parked in the garage.
  8. We'll be there, and we don't need any more T-shirts. Even though we have reservations starting on Tuesday, we may change that and show up Wednesday night or Thursday. We are discussing taking the scenic route to Eureka Springs, you know, the route that takes us through Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Illinois before we get to Arkansas. (Do you think Wild Hair is rubbing off on us.) We are thinking of leaving the Friday before and surprise everyone at an annual family reunion in Wisconsin the Sunday before. We did the ferry run last month, that was a blast, and we were going to suggest it for this gathering. Can't wait until September to get together with one and all!
  9. You've got that right! Thank you to all the military men and women, and their family and friends who give so much to protect and serve this country. You make us proud, and we pray for those who have served in the past and those who are currently serving today. May GOD bless you and keep you safe! Amen.
  10. We have reservations at the Comfort Suites in Bentonville too. We'll be in on Friday the 25th and will be staying through the weekend. Going to Stardays on Friday and riding around the area the rest of the weekend is our gameplan now. A meet n eat on Friday would work for us.
  11. Just outside of Tulsa - we had 5.2 inches of rain in the last 24 hours.
  12. Hey Chuck,

When do you get home? Sometime this month isn't it?

  13. Highway12 is a nice ride, and make sure that you stop and check out War Eagle Grist Mill.
  14. Hi SpeedySteve. I see you're from Tulsa, what do you ride? NEWTrk06 and I are just outside of Tulsa in Catoosa. We've got an 06 RSV. Maybe we can get together in the future to meet and ride.

  15. There were 7 of us BAD girls tonight eating Irish food and drinking Irish beer and discussing books. BAD girls stands for Books and Dinner Girls. First Tuesday of the month we get together discuss a book, have dinner out, and just hang out together. You guys aren't the BAD girls but the CHAT girls.
  16. Congratulations, sorry I missed it tonight.
  17. I have to hang out with the BAD girls tonight before I can join you. I will try to make it if I can.
  18. He talked about being in Paul's Valley OK this past Sunday and did anyone want to join him for breakfast. So he's around somewhere....
  19. Are you okay? Just saw the news and it looked like your area really took a big hit this morning with the storms that moved through. Did you have any hail damage to your vehicles or broken windows. We had some real high winds and lost some more tree limbs, and the power was out for about 7 hours today, but no damage to the house.
  20. Congratulations on your new daughter. She is beautiful! Hope Laurie is going well also. Beautiful name as well!
  21. Gainfully employed! YES! I love adult children that are gainfully employed, responsible tax paying adults. Congratulations to him. Congratulations to you too! That's fantastic. :sign woo hoo::sign woo hoo::sign woo hoo::sign woo hoo: I will never forget a phone message our oldest daughter received after interviewing with the firm she's with. The senior hiring partner called and wished she good luck with her career and hoped that it would be with them. Two weeks later she got the official letter offering her the job of her dreams
  22. JT our prayers are with you and Jeannie. It's always better to have Jeannie at home with you than in the hospital.
  23. New Target - You and your vehicle in front of your local tattoo parlor with the biggest, badest tattoo artist there.

We always cheer for Danica. One of our daughters went to HS with her in Rockton, IL, where she was a cheerleader during the school year and spent her summers in Europe learning to drive.
  25. Does a giant blue whale count? It's a tourist site along Route 66 just outside of Tulsa. Didn't have the tripod to include me in the picture. Just my car and the whale. Let me know if this works for you.
