I have been having an intermittent problem with my fuel pump. Without any other symptoms the bike will stall because the pump has stopped. I have changed the fuel pump, pump relay, filter and TCI without any luck. If I tap on the pump it will start. I was able to check the voltage to the pump when it wasn't working, the voltage was all over the place and never got a good reading. I have an 1100 mile trip planed for next month and would really like to get a good fix.

If you can't see through your clutch and brake sight gauges you may want to consider replacing them. I couldn't see through mine and while away my clutch master cylinder leaked on and ruined the fairing. I was gone 10 days and the damage is pretty bad. I was already going to replace them, the replacements arrived the day I left, and I figured I'd do it when I got back.

If you had never ridden a Venture you would be happy with the Gold Wing, It's a good all day straight line ride.

I know your bike is a 1990, but is there a stator cooling kit installed?

I am looking for the air hose from the rear shock of an 83-93 without class. The shock is a manual fill with no spring. I am removing the CLASS from my bike and this seems the easiest way to go.

Can I still scrape the foot pegs?

I have had 2 right saddle bags have the bottoms just crumble and fall out. I just installed the second one a few months ago and it was in good shape. Just confused? BTW looking for a brown right saddle bag for an 86 VR.

You might try a 60/40 water to coolant (water cools better) and some water wetter. I also changed the fan switch to a lower temp one, so the fan comes on just above half way on the gauge.

What's the trick to removing the switch? Mine isn't working, first it was stuck and now nothing. Tried to adjust it and nothing. Hand brake switch works.

The brakes seemed to be better some day than others and really bad by the end o a ride. I finally rebuilt the rear master cylinder and so far that seems to have done the trick

Did you ever get a TCI? If you didn't I live in Crestview and have one, I'll be glad to let you use to check your bike.

I did the test and got the correct readings. I took a chance and got a third relay and now they work. I don't know what happened with the 2 new I got and the original relay. What are the chances of a bad switch causing the relays to go bad?

The pump is stock. The clicking has stopped after I changed the horn switch, but the horn still doesn't work.
