Taken from here. Not pulling a full wagon. Not the brightest star in the sky. The light's on but no one's home. Not the brightest bulb in the box. A few screws short of a hardware store. Not the sharpest knife in the drawer. A few cards short of a full deck. A few fries short of a Happy Meal. About as sharp as a marble. Only has one oar in the water. Smart as a bag of rocks. A hamburger short of picnic. The elevator doesn't go all the way to the top floor. A few peas short of a casserole. A few keys short of a piano. Not the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree. The gates are down and the lights are flashing, but the train isn't coming. As smart as a stick. Fell out of the stupid tree and hit every branch on the way down. An intellect rivaled only by garden tools. Has an IQ of room temperature. Couldn't pour water out of a boot with instructions on the heel. Not the sharpest crayon in the box Not the the sharpest tool in the shed They are depriving some village of its idiot. A few threads short of a sweater. Driveway doesn't quite reach the road. The battery is not fully charged. Dumber than a bag of hammers. A few bricks short of a full load. A few clowns short of a circus. A few beers short of a six-pack. Dumber than a box of hair. All foam no beer. As smart as bait. Forgot to pay his brain bill. The antenna doesn't pick up all the channels. Missing a few buttons on his remote control. Proof that evolution CAN go in reverse. Receiver is off the hook. Has a leak in the skylight. Too much yardage between the goal posts. Not all the soldiers are marching in line. Dumber than paint. Half a bubble off plumb. Donated his brain to science before he was done with it. A few shades beyond blonde. A few watts short of a light bulb Running on 3 cylinders. Has the parachute but is missing the ripcord. Would lose a debate with a doorknob. Has an IQ lower than plant life. All volume, and no content. Wouldn't know if they were on foot or horseback. The wheel is spinning but the hamster is dead. The cheese slid off the cracker. Doesn't have all the chairs at the table. . A shining example of why you should avoid inbreeding. A few pecans short of a fruitcake. Would argue with a signpost. If you gave them a penny for thoughts, you'd get change. Dumb as a salt shaker. Has a mind like a steel trap: rusty and illegal in 37 states. Knitting with only one needle. The result of too much chlorine in the gene pool. Not the quickest bunny in the forest. The hard drive is spinning but the OS hasn't been installed. Not exactly burning all thrusters. A few colors short of a rainbow. The boat doesn't have all the oars in the water. A few ships short of a fleet. A monosynaptic cretin (Don't understand it? 'nuff said) A few noodles short of a chow mein. A few bristles short of a broom. Doesn't know whether to scratch his watch or wind his butt. Hasn't seen the ball since kickoff. The relative IQ of a deck chair. A poster child for birth control. A few players short of a team. Couldn't hit the floor if he fell on it. A few sheep short of a flock. Not the brightest light in the harbor. One plate short of a tea set. A few kangaroos loose in the top paddock..... A few slices short of a sandwich..... A few sausages short of a BBQ If her IQ was any flipping lower we'd have to water her. A few more braincells and he would be a cabbage

The Something Store This place has an interesting concept. You pay $10, they send you "something". It's random, so you never know what you're going to get. I haven't done it myself, but I've often thought it'd be interesting to do it, just for the hell of it. Then again, you know what they say about curiosity...

Sounds like a winner to me!

Well, you have a point. But then again, how many people do you want to know that prefer to sit on fiberglass?
-
The first pic of the three is it folded up. It's not a hard top. All of the canvas and poles get covered with a vinyl cover, and sit on top of the cargo bay. Is that what you were looking for?
-
My guess is he's referring to a "solo seat" cowl. It's a fiberglass, or ABS cover that replaces the passenger's seat cushion, effectively eliminating any place for a passenger to sit. Possibly similar to this. I'm not positive, but that's the first thing that came to my mind.

...and here they are.

Here's the one I just bought. I haven't put my hitch on the new bike yet, so I'm anxious to try it out. Figures I'd buy new toys in time for cold, miserable weather. I'm a sucker for punishment. Whoops... eBay link has expired. I'll post some pics in a few.

Biker shot in back. Shooter claims self defense
Cerviperus replied to royalstarjac's topic in Watering Hole
I think I too might have followed the vehicle, if for nothing more than to get a license plate number. I don't know that I would have necessarily followed it all the way home. But who knows. -
Unless something changes between now and then, I'm up for it. My co-pilot's not so sure, thinks it might be "too cold". And all this time I thought that's what the heated seat was for. I'll know more tomorrow when she knows if she has to work on Saturday or not.

I was thinking about the honey myself, until I realized he used a bug bomb on the thing... might taste a little funky.

Biker shot in back. Shooter claims self defense

Was that mentioned in any of the other articles, and I simply missed it, or is this a new condition at this point in the case? -
Received this in an e-mail this morning... found it kind of fascinating. So I'm using my BBQ this weekend... so I thought I'd clean it up.. I have noticed there are bees coming from under the cover so I thought I 'd kill them, obviously... So here's the BBQ in question. Now i know these bombs aren't for bees and that but i thought i'll suffocate/smoke them out. So here is the weapon of choice and delivery system. I thought I was pretty smart hehehe designed to be easily maneuvered under the cover of darkness... so then i release the weapon of buzz destruction.. OMG! the sound from under the cover was incredible!!! You could hear it 3m away easy... Then I ran like the clappers.... coming back few mins later to see the death toll... was at least 20mm deep mass grave I continued to remove the cover and to light the bbq to give it a clean when i noticed some fattly looking substance on the top of th side shelf thing.... Bit weird.. i clean it before i put it away for winter and no way was there fat there so i begun to wonder...... NO..... it can't be could it? I slowly removed the rest of the cover only to find the HQ..

I too hate the cold, although it's the wind more than anything that I can't stand. Since we're already below normal temps here, I hat to think what the next few months will bring.

Never ridden a 1st Gen, but the FJR was definitely too far forward for me. I'm sure some bar risers could help that a bit, but I'll stick with my RT.

I may have to take you up on that Jay, if I don't have anything else going on. I'll keep in touch.

You must post pictures when put back together. That's going to look great!

Heh... now she's going to get me in hot water!

That's actually where my name came from originally. I used to play online games quite a bit, and I'd bounce between Cerberus and various renditions of Viper. I got tired of my usernames always being taken, so I simply joined the two. Cerviperus

I keep thinking I'm going to try the knee-high type, or nylon. Every time I find some leather ones to try on, I can never find a comfortable fit. If they give me room to move, they're way too bulky and heavy. If I get them to where they feel like they're a good fit, my leg movement is so restricted I can't stand it. That's what's kept me from ordering any online, because I have no idea what size to order.

Heh... the new name sounds sort of familiar... no idea why though...

20 degrees above normal through the middle of the week, and then well below average into the weekend. I can see some colds and sinus problems coming on...

$2.29 last night here in central Illinois. Not sure what it's at today. I just wonder how soon it's going to shoot right back up.
