Not that it matters what I think, but I for one emphatically do NOT approve. Tried one on 09 RSTD and I couldn't wait to get it off. Turned out I had the chance to buy 11 RSV, which I did before I got rid of the tire.

You may not need to move back so much as you need a seat you can sit IN. I'm 6' 2" and the stock seat was terrible about pushing me into the tank. I have a set of Barons 1 1/2" risers that I plan to take off this weekend...because I bought Flanders bars and longer clutch/brake lines & throttle cables. They have worked fine with the stock cables, but I'm sure the new bars won't, hence the new cables & lines. I don't expect to need them anymore...

@MoS I'm using the Michelin CII on the rear with a 150/80-16 Avon on the front...BECAUSE I tried the 130 and didn't like it at all on my TD. I like the Michelin, and if I could get the correct size tire I'd use them front and rear. They make a 130/90, but no 150/80.

No linked brakes for me. While I would like the option of ABS, I EMPHATICALLY do not want front braking when applying rear brakes and vice-versa...unless I do that on purpose. There are very, very, VERY good reasons to keep the F & R separated, I think.

This morning I lucked out and was able to buy several cases of ammo. On the way home I stopped at the gas station where a drop-dead gorgeous blonde was filling up her car at the next pump. She looked at the ammo in the back of my SUV and said in a very sexy voice, "I'm a big believer in barter, big boy". "Would you be interested in trading sex for ammo?" MMMEEEEEE too! I want to cut my power draw down some more...including headlight and passing lamps. Apparently I'm not smart enough to figure out how to make the CD passing lamps fit in the pots that are too flippin big. Haven't tried a head light yet.
