thanks to everyone its alive ibought a used 86 venture 1300 in june and thanks to this forumn for troubling shooting tips ifound out the ignition ecu was failing ithought of ordering one from ignatech but as of july a web company Regulator Rectifier, CDI Unit, now gets them from ignatech? iordered a unit price higher but they do handle the details and after one month recieved it and now it is a running beast again. they also handle a lot of obsolete parts for other bikes thanks again
