Visiting our Son and family in Calgary. Kinley was 2 months old on the 24th. We brought along our riding gear, thinking of renting a couple of bikes for a day or two while here. Nothing but rain. We all went to Banff for the weekend and woke up to 2 inches of snow yesterday more this morning. Boy am I glad we didn't trailer the bikes. On the bright side, we've been spending a lot of time together. But, what's with the weather?

Looking for an audio system
Yammy replied to jteller1's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
We're happy with uniqaudio. The classic system sounds better then the low profile. A little more bass. http://www.uniqcycle.com/ -
After reading your thread I did the hole punch mod. Filled her up to the neck first and used a rubber handled awl. Sharpened it and put in four holes. Asked my wife if she wanted it done on her bike too. She said wait till I get in the house I think she has me insured.

Heel - Toe shifter has to go!
Yammy replied to Owen's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I cut back off mine. Then took some clear nail polish and coated the cut. Still looked the same several years later.- 60 replies

Cruise Control Not Working
Yammy replied to IdahoRon's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Is it a double switch on the clutch? -
Three new grandchildren. Zackery, Dani-Lynn, and Kinley. Sorry for the confusion. I should have given a little more info. These cuties are not triplets. We are a Brady bunch and have six children. These are from three different mothers. Zach was born in Feb, Dani and Kinley in March. We also have five other grandchildren, they are: Emily, Braydon, Tyler, Alyssa, and Addison.

We have a 12 by 6 trailer it holds our 2 rstd's. It's tight, but it works if you stagger them.

What do you do when traffic has stopped because people are feeding the bears? I've never come across that senerio on my bike but have wondered that if? What would or should I do? When driving over the rockies some years back at least a dozen bears were walking boldly amongst the cars. People throwing food out the windows. Some people were even out of there cars taking pictures! Glad I wasn't on my bike. So, what do you do?

Lake Superior Circle Tour (counter-clockwise)
Yammy replied to Prairiehammer's topic in Watering Hole
Hi We've done the circle tour, counter clockwise. We pulled a trailer and camped and when tired or the weather didn't cooperate we stayed in a motel. There's lots to see, more than a week will allow. There's a few pic's on our web site if interested. To tell you the truth were not very consistent in the picture department. There's a lot of side trips that can be taken. Hit the touring centers, you'll find lots of info. -
If I was to do it again. I would run the extra wire. If you change to LED's they don't like the 5 to 4. You may have to use a resister to keep both sides from flashing with the turn signal.

I tie wrapped it to the bar that runs under the hard bag. With the bag off it's easy to run. Get some plastic wire conduit first to protect the wiring.
