Well I bought my 05 in MRV IN October it had a tad over 11k miles on it it now has almost 21k and it just getting broke in good . the rider that introduced me to this site has an 05 MRV that has over 80k on his and it still looks as good as the day he bought it...and he says it runs better n better ... -

I'm new here and was wondering what is the most miles any1 put on their bike or has on their bike...I mean I've seen some Gold Wings with 160K + miles on them ....and what is CONSIDERED high mileage for a venture?

Sounds like a plan...I"ve got a 900 mile 4 day trip thru Tennessee,North Carolina, Georgia ( jawja for us southerners ) and back home to sweet home Alabama...Wife and I usually just pick a direction or a town and head out....

yea i hear yamaha's are notorious for lose battery connections, star washers will fix that problem...

I ride an 05 Midnight Venture.... and before that I road and 02 Honda Shadow 1100 , just got back into riding a yr ago last March, but I"ve put close to 16k miles on the 2 bikes... I've put 9500 miles on my Venture since October and didn't ride any in Dec...rode dirt bikes for years...

I live bout 50 miles south of Tuscumbia, 90 miles west of Birmingham & 45 miles east of Tupelo, Ms another words in the middle of nowhere & on the road to everywhere...

When I bought my Venture in October it had EIII's on it, I have since put over 9500 miles on them and I can see me getting another 3k out of the rear & maybe 5k on the front...my previous bike was a honda Shadow C3 1100 I ran 404's on it, BUT the Venture is to heavy for those IMO... PS I am looking now for the best price on the EIII's as I type.....
