dilemma ... My bike is SUPER load... from what I can find out the previous owner had Cherry Bomb Glasspack mufflers put on the bike... Now don't get me wrong if u like loud and awesome sound then this is the way to go... BUT i'm 51 and already my hearing from years of working in a machine shop and LOUD music has taking a toll on my hearing. Now my bike is adding to it...how much could i expect to pay for a set of used STOCK exhaust? ( i'm not really sold on going stock , but)...

next 5 days is going to be from 101-105 with humidity in the 90% range so that will = 106-111... that's too freaking hot for sure.....I rode to town to run an errand OMG it's so hot u can hardly breath...wont be riding unless it's at night or b4 10am ... unreal

I have no clue, but I've had my 05 since October & have put 13,000 miles on it and have only took 1 600 mile round trip, several short trips 250 miles but mostly ride mine everyday running errands, work, to visit wife at her office, to make a beer run ( i live in a DRY county) or just go for a ride because I can. I've put a tire, rear breaks and changed the oil & filter...oh and I had to put a battery on it....I use to think I wanted a GoldWing but my 05 fits me and my needs to a T....

well I don't bout trailer or not but here is a suggestion... a friend on another forum travels a LOT, said he only carries a cple nice change of clothes and if he needs more he stops at thrift stores buys what he needs for a little of nothing wears it & tosses it..said that way he had room for things he wants to buy along the way... just an idea....

Thanks everyone. Notice there is a lot of IF's in Big Birds treatment...So PLEASE keep praying as you read prayer and hope is all they can hold on to...

Update: saw the oncologist and he is optimistic that this can be controlled if not cured, IF the radiation "window" can reach from the lymph nodes under the collar bones down to the tumor on top of the stomach. It is a large "port" as they call it but it will be up to the radiation doctor. SO, PRAY PRAY PRAY that the window is big enough!!! He will have chemo weekly for 12 weeks and radiation daily for at least 6 weeks. The radiation will be the toughest because it will effect his swallowing, which will improve after treatments are finished. They will do gamma knife radiation to the brain lesion somewhere in all this. I am fully trusting in the power of prayer because it has gotten us this far!! this is from his daughter.....

Big bird Has been moved to Northeast Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS for more test, I'm sorry but that is all I have at this time. I will try & find out more and update ASAP...

talked to a rider this morning at a gas station he was on i'd say a 650 vstar and he said he bought it new on 06 and had 5000 miles on it .... I bought my bike in October & have already put 13k miles on it...and the longest trip I've made round trip was bout 600 miles...

stay hydrated and take breaks to cool off. in heat like this u can dehydrate in a hurry & burn even faster....
