    I get off work at 3, and wife is suppose to have everything ready. headed to NE Alabama (Sand Mountain area) then Sunday headed up to Lookout Mountain, Tn & down through NW Ga (Lookout Mountain Parkway) then Monday headed home but gonna take the long way & scenic route through Bankhead Forrest ... all in all 485 miles of Mountains 3 state parks couple BIG water falls & some covered bridges... hope to have lots of pics...

    no they just take the BIKES left over from the year b4 & change the vin #'s Yamaha is falling further behind each year ..

    thanks every1 who replied or sent me a private message on this matter. As most of you know I work @ MC dealership & we sell Yamaha, Can-Am, Suzuki & Polaris , so yesterday I visited the shop and talked to the guys back there and like here I had a lot of different ideas of what the problem could be. I did schedule a tune-up, my bike has 26k miles & still on plugs that came in it, and I'm going to have them test it to see if they can find the culprit..I am going to print off all suggestions & have them to check it out..cause I know you people have been there done that...Again thanks , this is why this is the BEST forum on the web!!!!

    my bike NEVER sits more than a few days, even in the dead of winter it might sit a week but then I will crank it and let it run....it's wonderful to live in the south )

    I didn't start using the tender TILL the 1st time I went out to go for a ride & it wouldn't start...I ride OFTEN 16,000 miles this year... daily unless it's raining or I have to carry a load in my pickup... When I bought the bike in October I got a NEW battery, almost 6 months later I bought another... The 1st I thought the dealer put in on a fast charge... the one I have now I used a 2mp charge over night...I guess i need to ck my voltage...I just know SOMETHING aint right......

    whats up with the venture... I know I"ve read others who have issues with batteries... I've had my bike 11 months & already gone thru my 2nd battery... yes i have a maintainer but if it wont hold a charge when am I going to be out riding and it quits? is there something I can do ? or something I should be doing?

    they make LED bulbs that will fit in existing lights . but I don't know how they work... be thinking about trying those...

    YES!!! a LOT brighter.... go to walmart ... they have some that u can press a button to show how bright they are... and they draw a lot less power

    and side lights for trailer today... didn't like the standard lights not bright enough...$39.00 @ HF for tail lights, side lights & wiring (which i didn't need, oh & license holder)

    I looked for an isolator at the parts place today but they didn't have one.... if they did I didn't know what it was ... lol

    There is an old saying that goes like this " Find a job you love and you will never work a day in your life"... I'm about to finish my 5th week and have yet to work ,,,,,,,lol well I did work for 1 sell, one of my buyers it took me 21 days to get him on the ATV he wanted, it wasn't me or our price it was due to his credit BUT Monday of this week our delivery guy delivered 2 ATV's to the client & his brother...the most gratifying sell was I swapped a Spyder to man with a HD Ultra classics that had a stroke and couldn't ride his MC because of the loss of mobility on his right side.. Life is good///:cool10::cool10:

    Well as far as I know he hasn't bought anything ....From what I've learned he has some things to work out before he can buy... Personally I think he needs a trike or a Spyder...

    LOVING IT!!!! I told our sales manager that I'm ALMOST ashamed to take a check for what I do... Notice I said almost...I mean lets face it, to get paid to talk to people about ATV's, utility vehicles, Sea-Doo's, motorcycles & BS with the customers is a great way to make a living, oh the pay so far has been WAY over expectations. Oh the best part is helping ppl get the best deal & seeing the smiles on their face. Meeting ppl and just talking about riding has been awesome.... I hope it doesn't sound like bragging, it's just that I LOVE my job!!!
