Eck, they serve alcohol after 5 just so you know.... they have a huge patio over looking a lake also set up for diners... it's a fun place... they have live music after 6 on friday & saturdays ...Let me know and wife and i will meet yawl up there sometime

I think our Walmart carries Purolator ... just don't know if they have that one.... thanks for the model Number... I had used Yamaha filters till I realized they were worse than Fram...

ok I know I'll get a lot of different answers but that's ok... What kind of oil filter do you use on your 2nd gen ? I have the old link about the different filters make up & know a lot you used the old walmart super tech, but what now? was thinking about the K&N but wondered if it will fit with the nipple on the end....

As you know I work at a Motorcycle dealership in sales. I Sold a guy a RSTD that we had traded for that wasn't running, he wanted a project bike. He got it and running in no time. His name we will say was Steve. In the mean time I sold Doug a Spyder, While talking to Doug I found out he had a 2003 Venture that he had let set up and wasn't running. Steve wanted a set of pipes for his bike, I had a set that I told him he could have, to come get them. Well when he came Doug was in the store to get his Spyder serviced and I asked Doug if he wanted to sell the Venture, he did, I figured he'd ask 45-5500 for it so I just went on....Steve walks in and he and I talk, I find out HE wants a Venture. I hook him up with Doug.Steve BUYS the Venture for $2000.00..Heck I'd gave that just to have for PARTS...Did I also tell you Steve was a mechanic for a Yamaha shop yrs before? well 2 days After Steve and Doug made a deal Steve called to ask me what his 05 RSTD was worth....Lesson I learned ALWAYS ask HOW MUCH ......... lol ..Steve said he LOVES his Venture!!!

haha I stopped watching the news when Bill Clinton was in office...they quit reporting news and started fabricating NEWS to fit their agenda ......

this whole mess was the medias fault....as for the justice department, you have to be kidding, that whole bunch should be charged with treason...

this Whole trail should have never came about...The media as always only tells the side that fits their agenda. The media will do anything to take the pressure of of the current administration, see Paula Dean...This wasn't a trail about murder or manslaughter . I believe the media did what they started out to do. Now who will be next to be crucified in the media?

ok .... maybe it was trash somewhere.... I got off work came home fired the bike up and ran the piss out of it and puttering along to see if it wold die... ran PURRRRRRFECT.... dang gremlins :confused24: when it cools off a little i'm gonna ride a little longer....

Condor, I could have but i did watch wich way the ARROW was pointing...I have doubled checked... that was my worst fear lol

well I can see fuel in the filter ( i moved it so i could get to it ) BUT when it died it was EMPTY... i had to turn the switch off and on to get fuel back in ...or was it because i turned the petcock on and off ....

well I put Mr gasket 42s fuel pump and new filter on.... 1st test run rode it 2 miles PERFECT.... parked the bike, got up the nest morning was going to ride to work made maybe a mile & half bike quit, starving for gas..kept messing with it and got it back running, but not right... limped home checked the filter and there was NO fuel in it...I'm going to DRAIN the tank and see if there is some trash in the tank???? it's almost like it's vapor locking..

got everything almost ready to put back... just hoping there is ENOUGH room for Mr gasket, filter & the on demand fuel valve...and I pray this fixes the problem ....
