Yea I've bought some ride maps that has some great rides along with gas and eating places. Also GOOGLE maps is a wonderful thing....it's our 1st trip to that area on the bike, we are PUMPED...:cool10:

for 4 days of riding... will be the 1st trip to finally use my trailer...Looking forward to the adventure and hopefully some great riding... I doubt we ride the dragon, too many crazy ppl. We are going to try and find the roads less traveled with the exception of BRPW...hope to have plenty of pictures....

well I get the K&N for less than $12.00 still twice as much as the purolator .... my thing is finding an oil filter wrench that actually works... why I like the K&N ..

is the K&N ..... I change my oil every 3k miles anyway & I love the easy off and on of the K&N .... I may be way behind on this but dang why haven't I learned about this b4 now....love the 17mm head on the filter, no need for oil filter wrench and it seems to be a great made filter,,,,

thanks Phoneman.... I hope to get to ride in the procession tomorrow... a group of us was in Nashville when we found out, on the ride back I had a lot of time to reflect ..we rode back from Nashville in Tommy's memory

Any one lives close ( Hamilton, Al) and would like to ride their Motorcycle in the procession, the family would LOVE to have as many riders as possible ... viewing is at 9:00 am funeral at 10:00am if interested leave a message....Tommy was a true VENTURE man.....

That Tommy Guyton aka BIG BIRD passed away 8/18/13 ... Tommy fought hard, never heard him complain, he was always worried about his fellow man. We lost a good one...Next time you ride think of Tommy...A group of us rode to Nashville on the trace yesterday & received the news while at LOVELESS Cafe... on my ride back it was kinda bitter sweet.. Tommy loved his Venture, and he was the one who introduced me to this sight...Our community lost a great man...

it doesn't rain Sunday the 18th, me, wife & a cple of friends is riding the trace to Nashville, eating at Loveless & riding back... for us will be about 400 miles round trip... any1 want to oin us? meet us? leave a message...plan to leave here about 8am...eta to loveless about 1:30 -2:00 depending on how many stops we do.....

the northern part from really Tenn on is wonderful....

THE NATCHEZ Trace from Highway 72 NORTH to Nashville is a very nice ride.... even from Tupelo to Nashville.. But from Tupelo south it's as boring as it gets... the good thing is no commercial traffic and not much traffic at all...Also if you ride to Nashville on the trace, MAKE SURE you eat at LOVELACE Cafe, it's about a 1/4 mile toward Nashville on 101, you can't miss it and it's a MUST ...

Ok wife and I have a big ride coming up in latter part of September. I've ordered a new Dunlop E3 it was suppose to be shipped 08/09/13 now thy are saying 09/09/13... WTH is going on with Dunlop? Now I'm thinking I'm gonna have to go a different tire

Ate lunch and got caught in a thunderstorm, snapped this picture and God lover her she is still all smiles even in a down pour.....

Here's a thought... mine had stopped changing channel or from radio to AUX ect.... i took the front cal off and unplugged all the plugs 1 at a time and used cleaner for electronics... fixed my problem ... if this don't help I hope you can find one.....

I don't normally do this, but I work in a Yamaha dealership, we have 1 2012 venture left and it has been SLASHED $300.00 below our cost. $16399.00 + tax & title . It is to good of a deal not to pass on here.... send me a PM if interested ... I can arrange delivery up to 450 miles for a fee...

Bill, I checked today and it's listed as out of stock... I work at a dealership and order one for myself & our dealer is out of stock till 8/9/13... don't know whats going on ...

oh i forgot to tell the LUCKY part.... the guy that traded the trailer gave me 3 GOLDWING travel bags and 1kuryakyn travel bag..... they look like they haven't been used...
