well a 300 mile ride a cple weeks ago and a 200 mile ride yesterday did me in....I work in sales at a yamaha store and I know what seats cost, and i've sat on a lot of the aftermarket seats and I don't like any of those.....

Sorry but that sucks like a HOOVER.... i've rode about 2k miles in the last week here in the sunny SOUTH...we are in a warm up rain turn cold, warm up rain turn cold pattern here

OK I've stood the stock seat for 37K miles, but over the weekend I decided that ENUFF is ENUFF, I called Rick Butler and made my appointment to have both seats BUTLERIZED... I can't wait..... I am sending it off this Friday the 18th and hope to have back when I return from my sons graduation from Lackland, Air Force base...

Yes I did, he said he USE to be, said he had made some changes in his life and the internet was not needed.... so I let it go at that..... I have over 37K miles on mine, so I have to get with it myself... course mine is a little newer..:whistling:

at the store today I meet a fellow venture rider, he had a beautiful 99, said he bought it new and has put over 100,000 miles on it....said the bike ran as good today as it did in 99....said the only thing he had to do is replace a stator. Makes one PROUD to be a venture rider.....

No Hamilton went wet legally about 2 years ago.... lol some things are slow to change..

I had a HID light on my old honda and LOVED it... it came from HID country...it was 100x brighter than my stock light....

IF we were gonna give it away I"d be the ONE to take it.... lol I'd even give them my 05 with 33k miles on it .......

a new 2012 Midnight Venture? the dealership I work at has a leftover 2012 and as of today it's been marked down to $14,999.00 it has an Ipod and a 6 cd changer,bike is BLACK..I don't normally post stuff like this but this is a very good deal...

Ive been there left a marriage of 13 yrs with just the clothes on my back, nothing more. I gave her the house & car for the kids sake, I did everything I could to make it easy on my kids. My daughter who was 13 chose to live with me. My son who was 8 had to live with his Mom. He wanted to live with me but he was so young I was afraid he would change his mind. long story short she had a wreck coming from her BF's house and my son was killed. No matter how BAD one has it I promise it could be & can be worse. At the time I was re-married after 3 yrs being divorced, don't know how I would have survived if not for my 2nd wife, she has been my rock.. She has stood by me even when I should have been kicked to the curb. ADVICE is easy to give....but the best advice is to do what is best for the kids... staying and fighting isn't always best.. each case is different... my wife and I have been married 16 yrs 7 months, we are happier now than 16 yrs 6 month and 3 weeks ago....it hasn't always been easy and there was a time I wanted out but I didn't want to lose my BEST FRIEND, who happens to be my wife... think IF I'm going back I'll stay in a small town SOUTH ... maybe Cleavland, or sylva, nc (east)...

well the midnight venture isn't the pillow top.... I was in the saddle 10 hrs Friday & 7 hrs today I don't care who you are or what seat you have your butt gets tired....

Pulling my trailer was a LOT easier than I expected. A GPS no matter how updated it is can get confused in the Smokies.....Heaven has to look a little like the views between Gatlinburg & Cherokee .....no matter what road you ride in that area its a good one...and i will never stay in Sevierville, TN again, I hadn't been in 11 yrs and it has grown 10x over , traffic was awful... Midnight Venture seat will wear you out after 3 days of 300 + miles and 400 on the 4th....ohhhhhhh my BUTT!!!

I had a lady in a van on her cell phone do me that way I didn't let her push me to the medium I kicked her driver door in and it scared her so bad she stopped... I think she thought she hit me....I promise she had more then a ding in her door...

I'm just using the trailer to carry our xtras, will unhook and lock it up at our hotel... may hit some of the roads you are talking bout on the way up to Gatlinburg area...

Craziness = crotch rockets and ppl on other bikes trying to ride in ways which is hazardous to them and others around them Other than that I like CRAZY... lol
