  11. Wow what a whirlwind trip.We left early Saturday morning Left Hamilton traveled north on 43 to Florence where we caught 17 to Tennessee line then rode 13 to I40 then took 48 to Centerville (1 heck of a road) to 100 & LOVELESS Cafe...Sunday was miserable, it was 97 in Nashville ...we might have rode 30 miles. Monday what a difference a day makes.. was cool no humidity.. we took a different route home.. we traveled thru Smyrna, Murfreesboro, then 269 to Tullohoma, Lynchburg, Pulaski, then 11 to Rogersville, AL then home ...Did almost 600 miles round trip ( bout 360 round trip in normal route to N'vile)... A couple things about the new bike.....It's a BEAST on the freeway, it's so smooth at 75-80mph (GPS SPEED) ....I checked fuel mileage 2x and averaged 46 & 48 MPG which is about 5 to 7 better than my old bike, I was so surprised at that as I was 2 UP and LOADED ...pretty darn good http://bamarides.com/ride/Smileys/don/respect-048.gif

  20. well I was thinking bout painting my old bike, and there were some other minor things, I got a great deal,(wholesale) and boss also told me anything over what he gave for the 05 he would split it with me..oh and 4.5 years of warranty left. bike is only 6 months titled.. I would have liked to waited on the NEW ventures but the price tag was just gonna be MORE than I wold have paid.
  21. Sorry about your wreck and loss but things can be replaced lives can't. hope your recovery is going good... wish I could have kept the seats off my old bike I had just got them BUTLERIZED in April... but i don't think that would work being the old bike was a midnight... I will still have to add a few things to mine....trailer hitch, old 1 was home made & I wanted a receiver type, I also want the saddle bag guards is about it, gonna leave it as stock as I can..

In October I would have owned her for 2 yrs, in that time I've put almost 30,000 miles on her, had a lot of great memories.... But I"m looking forward to making new memories on the new bike..... and having a warranty to January of 2019 is a lot of peace of mind...
