I looked for a nice bike. Found one I like. Finding out I'm doing more damage to it than good. That trip I went on a while back did a lot of damage as I wasn't being carefull. haven't been fixing my screw up that I inflected to it. Going to have to fix the front fairing paint that bugs me and need to replace my slash mufflers as one is bent from giant pothole. Don't know how I never went down. Now the water heater in house is leaking and been spending all my money on the garage. Don't this sound like life.

its not worth worrying about. I use low octane fuel 10% mix. When it starts slobbering as I call it either drop down a few gears or run the speedo to the top for a mile. The latter is more fun.... If you get moisture in the fuel the corn will separate from the gas. So at the end of the year you can pull off the fuel line for a few seconds to clean out the crap at the lowest point in fuel line. I don't do it, most of the carbs that gaskets couldn't take it have been rebuilt the kits have been updated by mfg.

well have aftermarket grips. not real shure of brand, curgen? Any way the left one will work its way off. The wind was bad today pushing me around which made it move a lot more. Took it off at home here just pulled right off. I think there must be a piece missing. cap screws on to grip but nothing else there. No screw to bar just open void. Any one have a pic of what should be there inside. The threads in bar end are big. n

lol you have the equipment. SO. Build a lowering kit. While your at it have skids that activate at 1 mph. I have some wood I could build ya some stilts. Ready to kick my rear yet hahaha. Don't buy some thing that don't break down. As we like to read about it. All kidding aside you know first gens are fassser. -
well I recommend a winch. When you crest the ramp front of box comes up real fast in your head. I used a three piece ramp center ramp pinned in place used the latch hole with a permeant bolt in ramp. Also two small 2x4 at the bottom of outside ramps. strap all ramps to trailer also. used a 3000lb winch so it didn't have to work hard. 6 foot loop strap on front forks above fender. I put a longer cord on winch so there was plenty to throw it off the ramps. Here is set up only pics I found that were close shots

I'm writing this on the old xp. D.on't think I want to do that bulb again. Its still updating right now. Was surprised it hooked up to new wireless. The anti virus expired in 2012. lol Will post pic of screen when i get phone up to date.
-
well it has my old igntec programs. And my tool inventory from back then. Plus you ever try something just to see how big of a pain it is. lol There must be something wrong with me. hahaha. I tink I's can dood it real goods.

Well the end of the bulb rotted off along with the wire. I think it may have leaked the mercury out of the bulb toward the end of its life and finished killing the wire. I broke the other end off when trying to get it off as it was stuck real good and just as black. Had to order one with the wire installed as even the rubber caps were toast. Should be a challenge to put back together with out breaking it. Shaky hands don't help with this. Don't think the screws could get smaller. Think I,ll try to find a set of those glasses. I also think this is a one time deal wont do another one unless I have another weak moment.

Well I have used one for over 14 years. I,m on my second machine. Don't know how bad I snore for over three years. Don't use my cdl anymore which for the other guy is a good thing. Kind of a bummer but faced the fact. Cant shift any manual anymore and distance is way off. But back to cpap. guess I'm stuck with it to the end.

well bought a new video driver. I was just going to throw parts at it. Got to watching the good old youtu saw some vids on replacing back light. so I took it apart one more time. The one side of bulb was separated from wire and ends were black. Well already spent 20.68 on driver whats 7 bucks more. Just about way to blind to see those miniature screw heads. But I got it apart. Any of ya change one of these ccfl bulbs.

glad you got it sealed back up. Had to change mine out around 30 years ago. But mine had collapsed out buy the road from me driving my 51 ford f3 over it many times. I hired mine done at the time as was to cold out for me to dig by hand. Plus was cheaper back then.

wow. We are all over the place what can and shouldn't do. In ten years maybe less they will call it obsolete. You may have to pull a tooth or a nail to get correct id. May even have to read chip in your arm. Your being tracked with your cell phone now. You reach a certain age in future may self destruct from chip. They could even use the dead for fuel.
