well to be safe. You should cut it into smaller pieces then sell them as lucky mirror projects. Then if that don't work have them turned into glass beads. spill a gallon of paint and dump the beads in the paint. Just don't get caught the mirror police are tough

I installed the smaller tire. You can stop in a straight line. Sit there a few seconds and take off. With out putting your foot down. Very rarely does the wind bother me. I like to run tires around 3 psi less than max. I wouldn't change a thing. Except cassette. That's not a big thing anyway put a wireless puc aand play music off my phone. And installed two usb chargers.

well so far been virago 920 and 750 early eightys. But that is because there here. Kid pays lic and insurance never rides them. So I fixed them up. Only thing starter is very bad design. There is a update but its around 350.00 Out of the two 750 is my favorite.

well I messed that up its a 130/90/16. Don't know where I came up with 19:stickinouttounge:
-
im running the 130-19 on my 2001. Also have lowering links on rear. Just adding flanders bars right now.
-
Well I used the epoxy. Have to do a few more sanding to smooth the part that shows. the back side is close enough. Used a course roll lock to remove paint. A bit of a no no but did it. Starting to get excited for spring. I think all the salt will be gone by September. lol They have been using sand here so if your around here watch out. Also we have a lot of bomb craters in the streets. The outer I used a small paint brush to spread the epoxy. After moving everything around in garage cant find anything.

well bought the parts from buckeye. Will have in around two weeks time. With all the repairs. fork, neck, flander cables and hoses think I have spent around 700.00. But I have a extra set of fork bushings. Don't ask some dummy ordered wrong twice. Sat on bike and I believe it will make a difference. Also bought a cartridge of 3m abs 2 part epoxy # 08237 semi-rigid parts repair. Will test a small area before going nuts on lower faring. At this rate need to ride quite a bit to make it worth what I spent. Took me a while to get all the wires reattached. Had a couple hiding in plain sight. So while waiting will try to get oil leak straightened out. Then of course service. Going to take forever to get all the dust and oil cleaned off bike. Working on interior of garage was messy. Repainting will have to wait till next winter or more. get out of the way:innocent-emoticon:

well the throttle cables look to be about 5" short and the brake and clutch lines around the same. where can you buy such things. tried buckeye performance but couldn't send email. any ideas going to be at least a week before I can order anything. spent my toy money on fork and neck rebuild.
-
yep running 10wt. I only had to buy 1 qt as have rebuild two other sets of forks recently. Had 1.5 spacer when I bought the bike need to come back a little more. As can only ride around 300 mile then have to stop for a few days.. Shoulder is limiting me. I have a hell of a time shifting even a car couple shifts and done with that. Hoping will be able to get full swing with flanders. While keeping arm against body. If this don't work may have to just throw in the towel. The pain is winning at everything. Its looking like gut is going to get in way. Its real iffy on the throttle and hyd hoses. So have to put it together and see if I can swing the bars. If not will put the stock ones back on. I think its kind of big for a town bike. So may have to just part with it.
-
well I made the spacers 8 15/16 long. Then I put in a little over 18oz oil in each shock. Have them back on the bike and new bearings and races on the tree. Now to add the flanders bars and 1.5 spacer.
-
Well we cant let chat fall short. We owe it to yammer. and where is that mama with the food. and bongobob and flyingfool and sniper and cowpuc. its almost time to go back to riding.
-
Well I have these fork springs. My pea brain keeps telling me to build the kids a couple pogo sticks. Anyone else turn bike parts into a kids toy?
-
Well the spacer was still not long enough to make two. No big deal had some plastic gray pipe here. Well by the caliper there 2 thousand thinner. But a lot stronger. Ended up changing the triples bearings lower race had marks on every spot the bearings sat going straight. The bearings are two days out still. this is the old stuff. I didn't really need to change lower tube bushings but I was there. Man that oil was nasty. Glad I bought the driver for the forks. As all went super smooth.
-
Well have had a few rotator injury's. Takes quite a long time to heal. I can tell when the weather is going to change fast now. Arther has made a home in shoulder now. good luck
-
ouch glad it wasn't worse.

well was going out to mail box. The neighbors culvert is plugged so there is a pond out front. Walked to the part I thought wasn't deep. Made it to the middle and sploosh 4inches of dam cold water. Fell forward and went through the ice hit my bad shoulder and right thumb is hurting bad. Is this crap about over. Was going to put forks back together think I better wait and see if this thumb is going to get mean. I know the shoulder is burning bad. You ever see a fat man try to stand back up on ice...…

ive used confection, bullet propane heaters, little milk house type. Waisted quite a bit of money on this stuff. Well I broke down and installed a electric hanging heater. was surprised that I could leave it on full time and heat my 2.5 garage insulated for 50.00 a month and that's with a dog door. I have it warm enough you don't need a coat just long sleeves. payed 150.00 for heater, had the 8ga wire already bought the circuit breaker. wish I would have done this first would have saved 100.s save wasting your time one and done.
