looks about the same shape mine was in. but yours is a little fancier. looks like jardine mufflers and chrome rear fender. fog lites etc. you lucked out and dont have a class system to mess with. clean it a few times and give a close look. put a battery clean fuel oil in cyls. see if it starts. will turn over a few times before it will fire. feel the pipes after it runs see what cyl is still sleeping.

yep. never had to re due my profile. have only had the bike sense 11-11 maybe i,m having a senior moment. losing all programs messes with ya.

well my bike sat that long. when i bought it was sitting outside. they had parked it and walked away. there is alot of info on here ya might as well spend 12.00 join get a memory chip go to tec down load everything. then you will have quite a bit of info. if you have a laptop info goes everywhere with you. when ya get stumped there are tons of people to help. and if you cant find parts just ask. someone has it and will sell it. save me plenty of times. .

well put in igntec computer the 5 month. had carbs rebuilt and seen them in pieces and looked at all pieces. drove it 250 miles a while back went out the next day front right not firing at all cold pipe. took computer out and checked ohms at plugs 109 at pickups and 2.5 for coils. pulled off plug cap. cant remember how to check. where can a person buy one at and is the wire replaceable. and i read some where that the coils could be cracked and test good just not fire. is this true? the cap looks damaged just not sure. any ideas

Had both hands done. Was nice fealing the wife again. Was dropping wrenches all the time. And felt like needles were trying to poke out of fingers. Best thing i had repaired. Every body that had it done scars stuck out after mine started to heal good i sanded them down while they were soft it was tender for quite a while but you cant see them now

If my pos would stay running would ride all winter. It cant seem to run more than250 miles at a time if it keeps it up it my be at the end of my owning it. -

Well i have the same dead cylinder again. Carbs are rebuilt computers replaced number 4cylinder not firing havet did the oams test again. About ready to replace every thing again -
the wix oil filter number is 24933 just bought one yesterday was around 8.00 if i remember correctly this was for first gen.

well took headlight out then took radio off could not reach anything. so then took battery out. under all the computer plugs there is a terminal that the main power goes through. looks like a fuse. wire was in two pieces. repaired it couldnt get it to act up. so that must have been it. took about an hour and a half. pita:banana:

is there a relay everything is powered through.does the power cable go to a solenoid before the fuse box as no power anywhere when dead. the only way to get in there is to remove battery box. or can i take off top off faring where the radio is. need to replace speaker anyway. tool needed {ie; gas and matches or what}:sign just kidding:not to that point yet:innocent:

was on my first night ride. going down the highway thought it was cutting out but wasant sure still had plenty of power. then was town driving stopped at the busiest intersection would not rev up then all power went dead. pushed it to the side nothing. pushed into a church parking lot pulled cover off. reached down to left side of battery. lights came back on. and would start. rode one block same thing. so every time it would start cutting out would reach under left handle bar wiggle wire and it would straighten out made it home doing this. any ideas. not the fuse box or battery cables. wire to computer above the area. :think: why why

Well i wnt on a ride today rode in34degree weather the bike sounded like it droped a cylinder every now and then then picked it back up have jardens for mufflers. Or was it the wind changing the sound

well i think that cover price is fare so will order one friday for my bike should make a difference did you remove the oem and is pad seperate part. my cover is real bad so has to be removed

trying to find a cover for my 83 royal. the ones i have seen are high dollar. this is not a show bike. just need a better seat. cant get mine wet as takes forever to dry back out. plus dont like wet backside.

Are the factory head sets worth cleaning and repairing. Or are there a cheap aftermarket wireless sets .

well blazing motorsports have equipment. they just put mezlers on my bike. they dont keep very many tires in stock. ordered mine had in less than a week. this is a new business. they also rebuilt my carbs. 563 264 8877 this is in muscatine along business 61.
