ground the wire from sensor to a switch and leave factory terminal hooked up. when you flip switch it turns on fan. just like the sensor would work for factory setup. its the blue wire on a 83 right front thermostat housing.

got it to work. oiled it. then moved the handle bars. would work till u pulled the key. had to redo it about 5 times before it was easy to turn. im figuring i better do fuse box and ground wire next as its going to make me any way. want to do progressive forks and replace the seat after it runs 1000 miles with no problems. cant remember the other upgrades:confused07:

cant get the key back in. worked it in. but will not turn.

well rode the bike 210 miles with no problems. told the wife and son finally starting to enjoy riding this bike. then wham pulled key out and cant put it back in. did get 40 mpg today and ran on all cylinders.took down interstate 50 miles helped it alot.

you can poor carbon cleaner and kerosine in plug holes and let it sit overnite should soften carbon put in gear and rockback and forth not hard. when it brakes loose you will have a mess. roll over with plugs out. then put plugs in and old smokey will start maybee did alot of cars this way must have idled alot

never thought the cable could make that much noise. thought wheel bearing went out at first. till i touched the dash and felt vibration.

well tryed to put a marker on map just added name never put flag on map looks like quite a few of us have tryed and failed. whats up with it.

that sounds scary. were you changing tires or driving down road.

well lubed the cable and drive into speedo. did it through the light assy. if meat hooks were much bigger would have to remove the dash. now if it would quit raining. hope noise is gone thanks.

did i read that correct cost about a dollar a min to run. 100hrs is not very long. or is that per charge.....

well when its cold the tac dont move and dash makes a loud squealing noise. and going down the road comes and goes. the sound that is. tac works after a while. this is a 83 venture.

they make a clay heat barrier for welding. play doe would keep the fiberglass from flash burning. just do short welds with cooling time that way you dont have to paint the glass. yes im cheep

well went for a very short ride. feet got to cold. we are supposed to get sonw tonight and tomorrow. nothing like you other guys only around 3". hope my bike runs this year.......

i took a course last year glad i did all the bikes i rode before never had hyd anything. first time front brake was eye opening and clutch and rear brake was too easy. had to learn all over. bike is top heavy. wife told me i had to take her riding drove real slow stopped to fast and she tried to put her foot down. just abought dumped it. had forgotten about shifting position for tight u turns. you made a smart choice.

dang i want to try and build one. but the wife just quit her job. will have to wait till she is back to work. hope i dont loose this thread. need a good challenge other than bike itself. getting tired of it fighting me. might just as well go way over my head. would that work with digital display instead.:pushups: no smiles with smoke over head.

thanks but i have a green manual. which is a copy of factory manual . diagrams leave a lot to be desired. was hoping some one had a pic of wiring, at location of bucket. [ ie shop and compare.] the single connectors are the ones in question.

mine is a verago 750 1981. forgot about model type. it has a round lite. should have taken pics and labeled splices.

well i have a 750 that the wiring harness had to be replaced. took old harness out and was putting newer one in. cant remember where all the wires in head lite bucket goes. any one have a picture of theirs. the wiring diagram i have stinks. will take all the help i can get. been buying parts here and there to put it back together. as caught on fire. been at it for a year now. have time to wire it now.:think::think: HELP lost

well took apart to change coil. found wire had a little friend over for lunch. changed wire and cap. tested cap and it was bad also. new plug and pipe is warm again. hope my pet got a shock.

if they take a 9volt dont buy. 2 aa battery type are safer most computers in car use 5volt for sensors so if you do something wrong you wont overpower the function as bad.

i have the little tool that is made for that. want to keep hair long and straight. no need for fried look. ugly enough already. worked at a dodge garage when first electronic ign came out. factory sent out letter warning about the shock, and the pin in hood to head sin-drum.
