i did mine and camos was right your soldering gun cant be the smallest one. big ones too powerfull. bought a pencil type from manerds the size is on package. buy the middle watt one. take you time and use pencil eraser on connections before soldering. cant remember if that was on that controller or cmu instructions. but made a difference for me.

ive worked for the state over 33 years. reached the age of 55 can retire full benifits. dont have any savings. divorce and stupid took care of that. just so you know im stupid. dont want to be there any more. but would have to find a job where i could make 1500 a month with out working all the time. would you retire or keep working and paying into retirement fund not gaining anything except interest. im having a tough time deciding what to do.

well rode in the rain yesterday. has any one used rain-x on the shield of bike and on helmet shield. helmet one wouldnt have helped because wife was wearing it. havent found one she likes yet. she loves riding so far this is her 10th time. going up to open house at jp cycle at Anamosa ia. wifes not going but a couple of other bikes are. we are leaving around 1030 will be wearing freebirds maint shirt if ya see me talk to me. o ya always in bibs. rod:sign woo hoo:

You herd about 3 wheelers. Add a front wheel to offset the weight. You could probibly sell it. Best listen to what doc says ill just get ya in trouble. Lol sorry this sounded stupid when i read it also

put a fuse on end of wire if it can blow it wire is good. you can test all wire pos or negitive. learned this fixing international dump trucks computer feed wires.

i had a cj5 with a 304 4v sucked fuel like mad. prob would have been cheaper to rent a car and have it fixed where it was at. if you want to make it scarier. put a trailer on that was my biggest mistake... wow. but you probably had to make alot of pit stops on the way for bouncing it out of ya.

if the ic volume is on right bottom had it all over the scale. dont have the covers for any of the mics or ear pieces.

trying to talk back and forth with each other. in helmets with radio playing in helmets. stops music. but mic has to be on lips for it to come through other helmet. otherwise stops music but no voice. dont have cb on bike but all the wiring and switches are there just no unit.

is that on radio. the red button and the one beside it isnt marked any more. i know the far one changes station. not real sure about next row am fm button wont work yet think the one next to it is loc- distance

pulled radio apart today. found two chewed up wires repaired them and disassembled the rest of connectors sanded and lubed all. hooked up head set that came with bike. nothing so cleaned all connectors where they plug in all joints. played with them till all worked. my problem is you have to eat the mic to get sound out of it. if you blow on it will stop radio but have to put in mouth to get voices thru. how do ya clean microphone:think:

if you dont rub the metal the salt is still there. the liquid salt sticks good. running water on it thins it but its still there. if you go on the under side of a bridge and look up you will see salt in the concrete cracks. not a new bridge takes a few years.

galvanized and aluminum are not compatible. they will react together and fail it may take 4 to 5 years. set some street lights and found this out. lucky no one was hurt.

I rebuilt mine had to borrow plyers from local shop. Used them right there to remove it. Then finished it at home. Lots of debree inside. If i was doining it would rebuild clutch slave also. Its all in the tec section and some of the members have it documented well. I bled mine with a hand held vac pump. Mity vac brand. While at it you may want to bleed the brakes also. Dont over fill with fluid as heat builds up and applys brakes goood

ground the wire from sensor to a switch and leave factory terminal hooked up. when you flip switch it turns on fan. just like the sensor would work for factory setup. its the blue wire on a 83 right front thermostat housing.

got it to work. oiled it. then moved the handle bars. would work till u pulled the key. had to redo it about 5 times before it was easy to turn. im figuring i better do fuse box and ground wire next as its going to make me any way. want to do progressive forks and replace the seat after it runs 1000 miles with no problems. cant remember the other upgrades:confused07:

cant get the key back in. worked it in. but will not turn.

well rode the bike 210 miles with no problems. told the wife and son finally starting to enjoy riding this bike. then wham pulled key out and cant put it back in. did get 40 mpg today and ran on all cylinders.took down interstate 50 miles helped it alot.

you can poor carbon cleaner and kerosine in plug holes and let it sit overnite should soften carbon put in gear and rockback and forth not hard. when it brakes loose you will have a mess. roll over with plugs out. then put plugs in and old smokey will start maybee did alot of cars this way must have idled alot

never thought the cable could make that much noise. thought wheel bearing went out at first. till i touched the dash and felt vibration.

well tryed to put a marker on map just added name never put flag on map looks like quite a few of us have tryed and failed. whats up with it.
