    I have a set of elite 3's on my bike, don't know the milage without checking. I also have a Tiregard wireless tire pressure monitor system on my tires, got it from J&P cycles in anamosa Iowa, It lets me know what my tire pressure is while i'm riding. I have checked my tires and compared it to the monitor and its usually right on with my tire gauge when ever i check it. I believe it was $175.00 at the time i bought it, they even make one to monitor 4 tiers at a time if you pull a trailer, i believe that one is $200.00. Like the elite 3's. my

    i'M IN THE PROCESS OF SWITCHING MY HANDLE BARS OVER TO THE FLANDERS, CAN'T GET THE OLD LEFT GRIP OFF, GONNA KEEP THE OLD GRIPS, LIKE THEM! I HAVE THE EXTRA COVERS THAT GO OVER THEM, I HAVE BIG HANDS AND THE COVERS WORK GREAT. JUST NEED TO BE ABLE TO GET THE LEFT GRIP OFF WITHOUT DESTROYING IT? WOULD APPRECIATE ANY IDEAS OR HEP! THANKS!!

    Monday march 2nd, i fly to LAX to visit my cousin for 10 wonderful days. Haven't been there since i was 11 yrs old on family vacation. I believe they live in the riverside-pasedena area. Would like to now if anybody that lives in that area nows of a YAMAHA dealer that would rent me a bike for a couple of days. i can find hardley's for rent, would just prefer to have a good bike under me:doh: (oops did i just say that) well husssssch my mouth. Nothing against hardley's, riden quite a few in my day, just really like the ride of my VENTURE, you all now how it is!!!!!! Never had anything fall off a VENTURE while go'in down the road, like i've seen happen to h------'s. ( oooooop's, did it again! Sorry h-----y riders). IF anybody can hep, it would be greatly appreciated!!!

    THANKS for the info there puc, i will write that down and take it with me to tell my cousin bout, if they don't already now it! I love all those twisty, turny, little back roads. Thats where you find all the little mom 'n' pop resturants 'n' neat little towns that sometimes it seems time forgot or just passed by!

    PUC, wonderful adventure so far!!!! Makin me want to go out 'n' ride all the more! Tis 2 degrees at this moment, don't think i'll be ridin round here anytime soon!! Am headed for california first part of march for 10 days, told my cousin i wanted to rent a bike while i was out there to ride the coast hwy! So i might get to do a little winter ridin, not around her but, riding none the less! KEEP up the great adventure, tiz help'n with the cabin fever blues, least wise for me anyway!!!!!

    Do what the docs and therapist's say and you should be ok. i did what they told me when i went deer hunting with my bike and broke my wrist and dislocated my big toe, things are all good now! keep up the good work and you should turn out O-tay!

    got the speaker pod off, got to looking at it real close, there are pos and neg markings on it! they are hard to see ,but they'er there. Thanks xv1100se for the info. thought i had looked through all the previous post's but i missed one of those. again THANKS!!!!

    Dont know if this belongs here or in the tech section but here goes, Installing POLK speakers in the rear of my venture, What color wire is POS and which is NEG. Only have 1 side apart at time, currently doing right side, have one red/white strip wire, one brown/with black strip. Any hep would be greatly appreciated!

    BRAVO------BRAVO!!!!!!! Keep up the GREAT work DON. LOVED this site and the people in it since i joined here. Really appreciate what you do here. i ride with alot of different biker friends and we all pick on each other for what we ride and have alot of fun with it!!     THANKS for the wonderful adventure!!!! Can't wait to be able to do this myself someday! Really seems like a great time with a great companion. enjoyed it all!!!! Makes me really want to go out and start putting new parts on the bike, push spring into getting here sooner!!!

    i ordered passenger highway pegs, didnt have any prob's, thought it was a little long on shipping. but everything showed up like it was supposed to!
