GOD is truely with us all, whether we know or feel it or believe it!!! The man upstairs was with me last dec when i went deer hunting with the bike, he was truely with you through this whole ordeal! may he continue to bless you with his presence in your life and in your healing process! god watched out over me when i hit the deer last dec , i know he's help'n your son and his family! PRAYERS sent for all involved!!!

i went to my local bike store and bought 18 inch strap x-tions, 4 of 'm', put 2 on front shocks at triple tree,hook'd tie downs in front to those. put 2 under seat on frame, tied them forward also! used 2 regular tie down straps in back when i brought bike home from stealer 'n' bike stayed in same position in back of pickup all the way home!!

Synthetic is wonderful stuff! it ain't gonna matter switch'n at that kind of milage, i switched my old virago at 20k or 30k and never had any problems! I too run syn in everything else i own 'n' is a firm believer in it! IF your gonna develope a leak or have clutch slippage, it was close to that stuff happen'n' any way.

nope, fireman from area where i had accident got the deer, glad she did'nt end up goin ta waste,time of accident, did'nt have alot of time to worry bout deer! GUY i work with is a sheep farmer and has 10 or 12 hides tanned each year, bought 1 from him, $100, I like it, helps alot on hot days 'n' and cool ones too!

I was hav'n trouble with mine not engag'n, found the rear brake lite switch to be adjusted a hair to tight,loosen'd a little 'n' now sets 'n' works just fine. mine was not sett'n at all!lites 'n everything was all com'n on , blink'n , but cruise still would not set.

been rid'n' last couple of half worm days! couple of hundred miles ,last 2 days! bike runs great!!!!

found the problem, rear brake switch was adjusted a hair to tight. loosen a little ,now works fine. thanks to all who helped!

ok, went out this morn'n',turned key on [bike not run'n']turned cruise on , 3 lites came on for bout 3 seconds,then set 'n' resume lites went off,on lite stayed on, no flashes? tried same with motor run'n' and got same results? :confused24:went through cables and everything yesterday, cause i lubed the cables, thought i put together wrong, sucked on vacum line while i had it all apart, all worked like it was supposed to on mechanical end of throttle? just seems like vacum pump not work'n'! gonna try to have stealer i bought bike from,try po again to see if he had same problem before he traded bike in?
