  3. Finally got the shrader valves on the bike front forks holding 18psi and back is at 50psi had to eliminate the compressor for now will load pics when I get home to computer

  5. Ditto plugs and patches IMHO are for emergency only to get home or safe harbor just remember the older we get the longer it takes to heal

I'm guessing but we have 3 wires going to the compressor that I'm thinking is to control the valves open or close I just don't know which one is which or if I am even correct in my thinking like you I'm having trouble but wanting to keep the original look and functionality of the class and compressor my idea is to gut the class and put new switches under the existing buttons 1 switch comp. on one switch front and one switch back just need to find out what the 3 wires are for and how much voltage it takes
  7. well im not moving to canada if mc ins is 1000.00 yr and i pay 75.00 for the same car ins. would be around 7 to 10k no way i could afford that

Ok im on my phone and dont have my computer and cant pull up wire scematics can any one tell me what the relay does on the compressor im asuming tit controls the valve for front and back lines if im correct what wires control front and what for back 3 wires white/blu white/blk yellow/blu on 84 venture
  10. that is why drivers are suppose to check the tires before leaving that is part of the pre check list i use to do my pre check before leaving shipper receiver truck stop and on a few occasions i found debris stuck between my duels if you dont get it out its a sure sign of disaster being stuck on the side of the road with 2 flats all recaps should be illegal companies put these on to try and save money and instead cost more money. naugh-t glad your ok

  12. yes but like yammerdan said dont leave it in too long run it out fast its a very good cleaner but can eat some stuff you need up i use it in my suburban 42 gal. tank last time i put a new fuel pump in it my tank was nice and shiny on the inside no varnish buildup in tank at all

  14. i dont know about the after market controller but you can hot wire your comp to a toggle switch and put gauges on each line to check pressure thats what im doing to mine
  15. thanks Squidley im just looking to keep the hole filled with the class and am going to do the manual fill set up iv got everything disassembled as far as covers go i just hot wired the compressor which still work good so i will add a manual toggle switch to it and the fuse block i have an extra blade fuse free and also add 2 gauges for front and rear and cut off valve to stop flow to front forks when filled i will say i dread taking covers off but im having fun working on it knowing when im done i will have accomplished something good :bighug:

Gary i do like your set up i may do similar but i want to keep the factory compressor on board red i will one day do the progressives on the front just cant afford it now and if you can find that write up you did and post the link i would greatly appreciate it i tried that Rick but the teacher busted me and put me back in kindergarten i told her i was suppose to be in 3rd and she told me to shut up Pete i would not consider your post off topic it all relates to what I'm trying to do you just stated what you did and offered your option thanks its an idea worth considering
  18. 2 can WD-40 1 bic lighter 1 #10 ABC fire extinguisher 1 cell phone (with 911 set ready to send) 1 pair of earplugs apply 1 can WD-40 to nest (at night) take second can with bic lighter in front of can light bic lighter aiming at nest spray 2nd can kick back and watch nest go up in flames if fire does not go out 1 minute after spraying can use 1 #10 ABC fire extinguisher on fire if fire still does not go out push send on cell phone after talking to dispatch insert earplugs into ears (cause you will hear the wife from 10 miles away no problem but nest will be gone):whistling:
  19. anyone ever bypass the class and still use the compressor if so is it as simple as putting a toggle switch on it and run manually i used the search bar and guess im not putting in the right keywords or word
  20. big dude i dont think it maters i started at rear then to left front then to slave and i have great L/F brake and rear good clutch slave now i have to do right front all with the vac:detective:

  22. i just looked at one on reckless its the cheapest 350. no radio verses some of the others at 750 no paint or radio ill go with reckless when its time and i got the duckies saved:whistling:
