apart from minor maint. you should get more than another 70k try 170k it will last as long as you take care of it and put good parts and oil in it maint. is the key to the longevity of any thing mech. also 12 bucks will get you months of free internet mechanics good friends and some good coffee and food -

i seen a vid shot of one rescue from the coast guard chopper they did not stay on it long as for power i know all to well about that i hope they and everyone else is ok

though im not riding this one out and you East coast riders are i am glad this one is not another Hurricain Katrina that one was bad enough yall stay safe and dont play outside or by the windows. i have family in Wildwood NJ and around Philly and haven heard from them in a while i hope everybody is doing ok up there BE SAFE YALL

yea but you can only get them in purple with pink pocadots and you have to order them on the 6th friday of every month you got to read the triple fine print :rotf:

i called skydoc and spoke to him about the problem im having everything is lined up but the push rod is sticking out to far about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch so either i or a friend of mine squeezed the clutch lever while i had it apart now i have to take the clutch boss off and re align the push rod what fun i should have waited til today after work to do this with no one around oh well live and learn thanks for the advice its much appreciated and Squidley i did not get the job done untill today my daughter was looking forward to going on a road trip with me i told her we had an invitation to go out any time she smiled and said next weekend i laughed and told her the next 3 weeks is my on call weekends cant do it but i will get out there one day google maps says it 6 1/2 drive but google dont know me to well 5 hrs. its doable

they also got muffler bearings and did you see the porcupine seat covers i need a set of those im gona order them on the 6th Saturday of the month to get a special discount any one else want a set they are a dollar 2.98 a set :crackup:

Ok I just installed the upgrade spring kit and followed instructions the center piece that the pressure plate sits on is now sticking oit and not letting the clutch grab the disc what am I doing wrong

glad your up and talking about it sorry about the bike as for what to get wait to see what the insurance will give and what it would cost to repair the 05 and go from there
