i will volunteer the 2nd Genner its a bad wreck i think i did a good job on it to only shatter my knee and few ribs but you should see the 2nd Gen it will never be road worthy again its not even salvageable tank crushed frame broke case cracked so i have been told i havent seen my damage yet wheel chair bound but the 1st Gen is safe in the driveway :no-no-no: 1st Genners Rule when we can ride them

glad it was te cage and not the bike and a couple of days beats a couple of weeks in the hospital hope everything is ok with him

hi now all the good drugs are still at the hospital and im on the weak stuff :stirthepot: they send you home on the difference between them i cant tell they still have my mind cloudy and i cant concentrate for long until the pain shows back up for a repeat performance and the shakes are brutal i thought you get that when withdraws set in will someone please stop this ride i wana get off here cause i dont like it anyway they kicked me out cause i was still on the good stuff and i kept needing more surgery went to surgery at 9:15am and was brought back to my room at 8:30 from what my wife said doc had to do some major reconstruction to my leg which was dislocated and shaterd both bones from it femur and tibular below the knee cap it does not make sence it must be the drugs anyway 90 grand later that will be monday i find out where we go from here:whistling: time for more drugs :sick: i really hate this ride wish i was on the 84 going down the road right about now my only problem would be shifting got to go

i am sore i hurt and it was a 9hr. surgery as for hipo i texted Carl last week yesterday was a bad day for recovery fever chest hurt short breath not a good day at all but slowly getting better Carl thanks for keeping everyone updated

update had some family come by today and got my new wheel chair also now just trying to figure out how to put the 1300 motor on it i have a place to mount the shifter and throttle control on my left leg :stirthepot: :rotf: ok on a serious note and im not sure i can do that on the drugs they are giving me but sice my accident on saturday i am now a hard nose proponent for full face modular helmits i believe if it wasnt for that i really would not be talking to yall at all as for riding gear i had

update thank you all for your kind and wounderfull post and phone calls i have gotten his is one handed 2 finger typing on meds:sick::whistling:myy friend at work says there ismore damage to me than the bike i am wheel chair bound for a min. 3 weeks now can anyone tell me where the throtele cable is suppose to go on this thing :confused24::rotf: i was the first to talk about it now i have to laugh at it i dont know what i did wrong and i keep going over every detail of that day in my head? what will cause a brake to enguage with no action brakes are not linked i am dumbfounded on this oh no insurance on this bike got it on the 84 venture but not the rstd and the wife said i can get a new one to replace this one in 30 yrs:confused24:

was doing a test ride 25 mph and the front brake locked up now i need anew knee my left clavical is broken no insurance so i cant get a new helmit to replace the one i had

my wife is going to see her middle child at fort hood my two younger kids are going to my niece(wife set that up) im the black sheep of the family :stirthepot: :stirthepot: so i don't know where im going maybe FL maybe TX guess it depends on which way i go to chase that front tire and on which bike i chase it :confused24 :

Miles i would agree with XV1100SE and his idea until your Bolivia trip just announce where and when you will be there to have dinner with you i think its a great way to put faces to the names on this forum i would like to do that myself and i know my family would not mind getting rid of me for a while but work and the bill collectors would not like that it would be hard to explain why i have no money to pay the mortgage lights and water bill at least not until i win the power ball or mega millions lottery

EBC HH pads and SS lines is the way to go makes a big difference in stopping when the funds are right i plan on doing my 84 and the R1 up-grade on my 99 RSTD
