i am so jelouse i still cant get on my 1st gen after 11 weeks still cant put weight on the leg but i did crank it and run it for about 20 min and it was smokin not running on all 4 cyl. needs a major tune up oil change and carb cleanout i need to check the diaphrams first that wont be for another month or 2 then i got to get the 2nd gen back and get a list for repairs on it glad you got to ride today Jeff

the best family i have ever joined they do more here then any other group i have seen or been apart of and most of all will save you lost of shop charges with the mechanical knowledge they have i do like picking thier brans on this

Calperin i know how you feel as i am recovering from my bike accident in nov get plenty of rest and heal fast keep us posted on how your surgery goes today

thanks Aimhigh im not sure what damage is on it as i have not seen it yet still wheelchair bound so very hard to get out im hoping i can take a look at it in the next month or 2 at wich time i will take as many pictures as posible and post

physical therapy gave it to me and my doc had a fit she said im not suppose to wear it then gave me another brace its lighter but is uncomfortable she said i was married to it i told her i want a divorce from it

they only gave me one cause of n snow traction dont know why we dont get snow and i cant wear it anyway still no weight allowed on the leg

now that would be great to have a MD day here but it would have to be in spring or fall the heat of summer is just unbearable and i dont think ill be riding until mid fall providing i can find a way to get money flowing but thats another problem for another day

a family friend towed my bike after the wreck he stopped by yesterday to tell me the bike can be fixed and back on the road again but i will have to do that i just cant afford 5 grand to him and a 150k hospital bill

i had all but 1 vehicle with progressive i was paying 161. a month for 2 cages and 1 bike wifes car was full coverage suburban was liability and uninsured motorist bike was full coverage on the first gen no insurance on 2nd gen as it was not road ready now i just have suburban with liability and uninsured motorist so its 41 a month

Kevin you are not suppose to spill the first gen :no-no-no: only 2nd gens like i did i know how you feel about the ribs i got my shoulder and leg in on the action too if i had a carb tune i would send it to ya maybe one of the guys around Jackson has one

Randy i hope you get some good news from the MRI and its a simple fix with short healing time good luck and see you on the road one day soon

Friday i went to the doc for more x rays and she said my bones the feamer and tibular are now starting to mend i go to therapy to learn how to walk with crutches in the next 2 weeks and should if all goes well be able to start putting weight on it by end of Feb. now we all need to keep getting good news like this and what mini posted for Jeff we will be back riding soon :bighug::cool10::cool10::fing:fingers-crossed-emo:fingers-crossed-emoers-crossed-emo

good to hear he is healing up good when you posted in Dec. i never seen it as i was on cloud 9 most of the time from my accident but hearing about your good news is good because my doc on fryday said my bones in my leg are starting to mend and get to start walking with crutches soon here are the latest x rays Jeff has a good doc mine is not a biker :sick:and says bikes are bad im still gonna ride again soon
