oh i just looked at the classified ad and Miles thats a nice bike but ....yes there is always a but.... i have no job, and no money, so therefore i get no bike i dont think you will have a problem selling it good luck
i would replace it better piece of mind and you may have killed a couple of cells that were weak anyway it would have likely left you on the side of the road better it happened at the house
dont know but its kinda hard looking at it on my head :rotfl:ok wheres he pis of the bike you know the rules no pics i didnt happen :photographing: oh nice truck
Jeff i look forward to seeing a vidieo of it and some pics of your bike ....also the guys i use to do the strobe light installs with are nolonger doing that as thier source dried up and they moved to LA.
i know exactly how you feel Lewis i have taken the faring apart on the left side since i cant ride i am going into this blind and dont plan on getting in to deep as i dont have parts and or the tools to do everything i should do to it but i can crank it up and put it in gear and let it run for a little while so she thinks shes going somewhere
pb blaster was all i had i would use cable glide if i had some and had the money to get it but the year is still young and im still in recovery mode for the leg
lube the cables that may help a great deal my idle was doing the same thing i sprayed pb blaster down the tubes the cable ran in and what a difference it made
i split the fairing and man i found screws where there souldnt be any and found screws missing where there should be one missing from the diafram cover back carb and i even found a security screw in place of a regular screw on the diafram cover on the front carb one of the PO must have lost acouple so i cranked it up anyway it ran before i parked it in Nov (not by choice) turned the key and hit the button and it cranked first time the slides seam to be working good i put it in gear and went thru all gears on the centerstand i am not going thru it like it needs to be done as i dont have anything to fix anything i break also i fnally found my date code on the back tire it realy helps when i take the saddle bags off 1202 now is this an old tire or what eithere way its gona stay on cant afford to get any new tires parts or anything but it does run fairly good i think the carbs need a good sync does any one have a pic of the cruise control pump i will post some pics soon
