thank you everybody for your kind words of encouragement prayers and morale support i did manage to get one pic of the bike in the parking lot of our local country store the first day i rode it

73 and cloudy rained thismorning and more on thway this evening

finaly took the 84 VR on 2 4.4mi test rides oh it felt good to ride again honestly i was scared to death on the first ride since i havent been on a bike since my m/c accident in November but that only lasted 500 feet. still dont have word on the RSTD as far as the frame is concerned a witness said he seen the bike land on the left side and then did a couple of flips and landing on the right side hard before it stopped anyway getting the 84 ready for a trip up to Tupelo on tuesday for my job interview with Toyota and i got 2 gal. of 5 month old gas with 3 gal. of fresh gas mixed in and half can of seafoam that was put in 5 months ago so now it idles high at 2000 rpm will adjust idle screw and gona drain that gas into a gas can thru the filter change the filter and put the gas back in i hope to be able to change the oil and filter when im done with my 600mi. round trip i hope to make this treck every 2 weeks weather permiting once i start working there (Toyota ) as the wife and kids dont want to move.

well the only thing i dont like about it ..... wait for it:whistling: ............... the color it does not match the bike now its got to be painted :rotf:other than that it looks good

Miles if i was still living in lewiston i would ride east to reading to meet you but im not so i cant and that's a bit to far to ride for a free meal enjoy your ride through the cascade mountains wish i could be there too

sounds good i will meet you here if you come down or up there when i come up either way i will be on the 84 as that's my only transportation and i love it as for the plant in westpoint that could be what they want me to come up for really i dont care where its at ill go where the work is at i will let you know when i have to go up also

i had spybot too itwas good at first then the bottom fell out i had to make the hard drive crash to get it out and then reinstalled the os that was on XP not trying it with 7

thanks Don they are hiring production line at the new plant in Blue Springs MS up by Tupelo Birth place of Elvis cant wait to go up to interview and do the first test last company i worked for is out of Tupelo so i know some people there and Eck is south of there about 45 min maybe i will get to meet him when i go up

i just got a call from toyota in blue springs MS they want to move to the next step of the hiring process :cool10: now to find something to sell so i will have money for gas to get up there as its over 300 mi one way and to put the faring back on the bike so i can ride up and back to the MS coast :fingers-crossed-emo

Boss can you make this a sticky Mike i know how you feel and what you are going through i have been out of work since Nov when i wrecked the RSTD and in all this my mother goes in for heart surgery a month ago and again 1 week ago i cant be near her and that is tough and still healing from the wreck. real tough situation but i will make it and so will you i cant send anything at the moment but when i get my un-employment started or toyota calls me (im hoping toyota calls first they pay better) i will send what i can then as i have been helped by this generous family too prayers sent for now Mike
