  2. thanks Jeff i got it i was outside working on the wifes suburban when you called got hers done and now doing a recheck on the bike to make sure of my diagnosis on the fuel pump and relay
  3. Update on job hunting as many of you know last week i went 300 mi. north to Tupelo on the 84VR to test for Toyota i completed and passed day one and day two testing and then had to miss B2mom-dad meet and eat to come home for a death in the family and i never thought about Toyota again well today about 20 min. ago i received a call from them wanting me in Tupelo on Monday June 3rd for an Interview now im psyched and cant wait for the trip back up on the 84VR again so now im working on the fuel pump as it went out on the trip up the first time and didnt know it had no tools for testing with me but i know she will run for 75 mi trouble free then its time to top the tank off

  7. that should hold you for all of about 1 day at least you got to ride and enjoy the scenery and wind from the co pilot seat heal fast

I am sorry i missed your meet and eat i was so looking forward to meeting more VR friends and Family but i had to come back to Gulfport MS as my Ex mother-in-law passed away and my oldest son and Ex-wife were pretty torn up over it i hope to be able to meet yall one day soon and many other VR friends and family but from the sound of it sounds like yall had a real good time have fun ride safe everyone

  15. i think the right side would be more suitable as the bike has a natural lean to the left when on the side stand then once your on Mike could get on and stand the bike up straight also use another floor board that can be attached to a locking hing type set up that can swing in and out when needed not be bulky and a hindrance i can picture it in my head as to how it would work and what to hook it to i just cant draw it out or put it in cad form wish i could do that maybe Dingy could draw something up if we ask him Dingy i dont want to volunteer you for this so i am asking could you do this
  16. yes it is but i have to wait till Friday bad thing is i only brought 1 change of clothes for this trip and dont want to go home only to have to come back up good thing i have a friend here with a floor i can crash on and a washing machine and dryer

  18. Thanks everybody I got an update I will be staying in tupelo till fryday evening I have been called back for day 2 testing they called me 10 min after I left glad I stopped to gas up before leaving tupelo
  19. ok im on my laptop at the truck stop waiting on my friend to get off from work at Toyota to i can get some sleep and rest my poor aching back side (i shot Rick Butler an email asking about my seat:detective:) but as you can tell my spelling was bad on other post thats my smart smart phone for ya any way as i said in the other post im ere in Tupelo saafe and sound and the VR is still in one piece i just cant figure out the reason it acts up after about an hour or 2 of riding like it has no power i brought a spare set of plugs with me i will change later does anyone know what the gap is for these plugs
  20. thanks Mike well I made it safe and in one piece had just a couple of problems the tach was acting wierd and was like I was losing power when I would stop to gas up an let it cool for 10 min. It would be ok only jappens when I been eiding dor an hoir or 2

Ok everybody I just left from having donner with Eck and his wife and I enjoyed meeting them and the hamburger at hucks Eck it was apleasrure to meet you and your wife now im headed to tupelo I wiil post again when I get there. Ok had some carb trouble in hattiesburg but got it fixed a stuck float in jackson now just topped the tank off 2 gal. 88 mi. beats 3 gal. 77 mi on first leg Eck I will try to time it got the gps hooked up and it has me getting there at 5 but mine is never correct I always beat the time it says
