  3. yea ask him if he put oil in it and filled it to the top of the sight glass while it was on the side stand ask me how i know that one:whistling: ... blew oil for days out the vent tube into the breather box made for very hard starting also the old gas thing

  9. i talked to joe on the phone he is a stones throw from Louisville sounded like he was fine just had to pullover for the down pour and may have hit some tire gator pieces that may have punctured his tire causing a slow leak he is hoping to air it up to run 30 min to Yamaha in Louisville i gave him a number for a place in IN but i think it may be to far and Louisville may be his best bet

  11. mine was lose when i checked it last week when it was on the center stand in advance auto parking lot i was able to tighten it up by hand after reading your post i will look a little closer and harder at it looks like i will be replacing the bolt in it real soon

  15. i had the same problem i was told to get a vacuum pump and do it that way i got the pump at Harbor freight filled the master cyl hooked the hose to the bleeder and started pumping keeping the master full until i got clean fluid on the front break and then repeated same process on back break after that i had pressure on the breaks and left it alone so you may want to try that also put some Teflon tape on the threads of each bleeder valve before you start the process it really helps getting all the air out

  18. last one i got for the rstd they had to order and it took 2 weeks but that was my experience not all are the same you might get lucky
  19. check with member skydoc_17 in the vendor section i believe he has them but you wont get hold of him till sunday or monday as he is at MD day in OH at freebirds this weekend

Big Lou i am taking a bunch of fiberglass off of the plastic the po (before 1rooster) put on only one side adheres if your lucky he also used bondo and painted the abs over the cracks i think i got it all off and have been plastic welding it and reinforcing the cracks with copper wire that makes it stronger and the cracks have stopped spreading right now it doesnt look good but its still a work in progress
