I have never heard of Metzlets "throwing rubber" either. Perhaps the tire referred too was underinflated and overheated? I put ME 880's on my Vulcan 900 and it was like I bought a new bike. I corner harder than I ever thought a skinny 21" tire could. Grip and wear have both been great so I ordered them for my Venture also. Hope to get them installed this weekend.

AT&T quietly slapped a 250gb/month limit on their dsl a few months ago. I think you would have to really really use netflix a LOT to approach that, but it is worth checking into. I had it but canceled when they dropped shipping dvd's at base level and increased price 50% to get the same package. It did work nice on the wii system though.

Thx Carl, those look real nice. Much better than the blk plastic. If u have some in a couple weeks still I will have the cash to spare. My one concern is about adding all that xtra weight!

I have a CCW permit and almost always carry when i ride. A while back we were having a lot of layoffs at the plant I work at, and I was seriously nervous a couple of these guys were capable of doing this. Started leaving pistol in my truck in pk lot against company policy, just in case. Paranoid? I didn't think so. Prepared? As well as I could be. One of the 2 i was concerned about did go nuts a few weeks ago and had to be taken by ambulance to a psych ward. Thank god he only used his fists but it took several guards to subdue him. Kinda scary.

Thanks everybody. About the tires- yes I hate the dunlops on it. The front end does weird stuff sometimes on curves. I thought the head was loose until I realized it seemed pavement dependant. A pair of Metzlers on the way already. Shiny parts missing? Ooh I need those. Where are the located on the bike? Marcal definately interested. PM me. Yammer I haven't had any problems with 2nd gear, but I've only ridden it a few hundred miles. It has 42k on it. I put Mobil 1 racing 4T 10w-40 in it and it shifts like butter though now. Can check VIN- is that where I find # you refer to?

Bought this bike about a week and a half ago. It was a pathetic, ugly, dirty mess. The windshield was so swirly, I had to look over it on the way home. My wife and I spent about 30 hours disassembling, cleaning, waxing and reassembling. Took it for inspection and the mechanic was impressed at how complete the bike was; all the parts are there. I still have detailing to do on the engine, clutch cover, etc, but it's not too bad. It runs like a top- I call it The Cruise Missile. The more I ride it, the more I like it. Just joined, and you all seem really nice, so I'm gonna jump right in. That video was pretty hilarious. I saw one on dailymail.co.uk where students laid a document bag near a hidden nest along a sidewalk, then filmed from a 2nd story window as a guy saw it, walked over to pick it up and was attacked. He fought it for like 3 minutes- it was a riot.
